You'll work closely with peers, product, and engineering. Last year alone, our platform was trusted by 8,000 organizers to lead over a million travelers on adventures in 150+ countries. Now, we’re on an exciting journey to grow from powering $1B to $10B in travel experiences per year. We believe that every trip, when done right, can be a force for good - and we’re building the engine to make more of that possible.   What’s the role As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Developer Experience, you'll help make it fast and easy for WeTravel engineers to build, test, deploy, and operate software. You'll work on the internal platform and tooling used by our product engineering teams: CI/CD, developer environments, service tooling, deployment workflows, observability, and self-service infrastructure. But your primary customers are our engineers, and your primary focus will be making their development experience better. Reduce cognitive load while keeping the underlying systems flexible. Reliability & Observability: Help engineers understand and operate their services in production. Improve observability, incident response, SLIs/SLOs, and the tooling that makes production issues easier to detect, debug, and resolve. Infrastructure & Cloud: Contribute to the AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform foundations behind our platform. Improve scalability, security, cost efficiency, and multi-region readiness while keeping infrastructure easy for product engineers to consume. How we work We’re focused on the impact. We don’t subscribe to any one framework or execution ideology, and we adapt based on what’s impactful. We’re using the latest hardware and constantly on the look out for better tools & ways to work Stack: We’re using React/ReactNative/TypeScript + Ruby on Rails, Go and Python Microservices on Kubernetes. Staff Product Manager - Trips

WeTravel·Netherlands

Hi! 👋 I'm Steven, Lead Product Manager at WeTravel I'm hiring a Staff PM to own Trips, the domain where every trip comes to life. Ten thousand travel businesses build, present, and sell their trips with WeTravel, from boutique agencies to student travel operators running hundreds of departures a year, which makes this both the surface their teams spend most of their working day in and the first thing their travelers ever see. You'll own it end to end: the trip page they sell with, and the content and AI engine that crafts it, and the content specialists who build our library, who will report to you. About WeTravel Travel gives people new experiences and brings them together, sometimes in life-changing ways. That's especially the case for group travel and multi-day travel (think of a 7-day safari in the Serengeti, a 5-day scuba diving trip in the Galápagos, or a multi-week pilgrimage) where travelers get to really immerse themselves. Passionate travel organizers make this magic happen, and WeTravel is here to support them. Multi-day travel businesses use WeTravel as their end-to-end operating system: publishing trip offerings, generating and converting leads, processing payments around the world, paying suppliers and vendors. WeTravel helps them grow sales, save time, and save money, so they can focus on delivering incredible bucket-list experiences. WeTravel is a 400+ person company representing more than 50 countries. We combine global diversity with the agility and closeness of a much smaller team. More than 90 colleagues are based in our Amsterdam office in Rokin, including the entire Product Org and most of our Engineering team. You will have fun innovating fast with brilliant, low-ego colleagues. Our clients are also easy to reach, which helps us stay close to their needs and build with them. Financially, WeTravel is highly secure and growing fast, with 50 to 100 percent year-over-year growth depending on the metric. This gives us a strong foundation to build from. About the Role This is the domain where our biggest bet is playing out. Building and selling a great multi-day trip is a lot of work: crafting a story worth booking, assembling the content that tells it, and presenting it all in a page a traveler trusts. Our goal is to cut that turnaround down so organizers get back to their client faster, convert more of them, and sell more trips. It also has to hold up as they grow, because a boutique agency selling bespoke trips and a student travel operator running hundreds of departures are building on the same tools. The way we get there is great technology in the hands of organizers and their teams. You will own that end to end, the experience and the engine behind it. What you'll work on WeTravel Trips give organizers the tools to create proposals, detailed itineraries and a high-conversion booking experience, while giving them time back to grow and operate their business. We're now looking for a Staff PM to take this domain through its next phase of growth, and make WeTravel the best software for travel businesses to build, present and sell their trips. Our success in this domain will drive the growth of our organizers by expanding in several areas: An integrated building experience that helps organizers find the right content and craft the right trip for the right travelers. Shared libraries that pay off most when a team works from them, so every proposal that leaves the company is consistent, beautiful, and unmistakably theirs, whoever wrote it. AI-enabled tools to imagine and create new trips, produce world class content, and optimize their sales funnel. Trip pages organizers can publish and promote wherever their travelers are. 1/ Designing the trip page and selling the trip Think of the trip page as the product detail page of the travel industry. It is where an organizer's work becomes something a traveler wants, understands, and buys. Dynamic Trip Builder: Intuitive tools for organizers to create their trip offerings, in the languages their travelers read, on WeTravel and beyond it. Day by day itineraries: the plan that makes a trip feel real before anyone has booked it, built fast and kept accurate as the trip changes. High converting pages and proposals: whether an organizer publishes a trip for the world or sends a tailored proposal to one client, the result has to look professional, capture travelers' imaginations, and turn interest into a booking. Mobile app for travelers: once they have booked, travelers carry the trip page in their pocket, with everything they need before and during it. 2/ The content and AI engine that turns hours of work into minutes WeTravel Library: a curated library of properties, activities, and reusable content on its way to 20,000 properties, so organizers build with high quality content. The organizer's own library: their photos, their descriptions, their reusable blocks, so a growing team sells in one voice instead of rewriting content from scratch. AI-assisted building: Copilot that drafts and improves trips inside the builder, so organizers start from a strong draft rather than an empty page. And the team behind it. Our content specialists will report to you, and you will own the content strategy, the regional prioritization, and the pipeline that keeps the library growing. I'm looking for an experienced, generalist product manager to lead this domain end-to-end. You will deeply study travel organizers' needs, prioritize them, come up with solutions (or hypotheses to test), drive all necessary functions to build and launch the solutions, drive adoption, and ultimately grow our revenue and profit. You will also manage our content team, and you will have direct and continuous access to C-level executives to ideate and create products. If you've ever wanted to empower businesses with innovative tech and have fun in a well-funded rocketship in the heart of Amsterdam, this is it. An Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate would bring a track record of exceptional results and a well-rounded product management skill set, especially the ability to break down any problem and drive high-velocity execution. Must-haves: Deep product management experience owning real outcomes, not just execution. 10+ years in product management is ideal (lead level) 7+ years is minimum (senior level) Travel industry knowledge. Comfortable being accountable for product-led commercial outcomes, not just features shipped. Strong cross-functional stakeholder leadership across sales / account management, engineering, design. Growth and experimentation mindset, with the judgment to decide without perfect data. Willing to ship, learn, and iterate. Data self-sufficient. You can pull your own numbers, find where a funnel leaks, and size the opportunity before asking for engineering time. Things that will likely help you in this particular role: You have owned a builder, editor or CMS-like product where the artifact your users create is what earns them money. You have shipped AI features that people kept using, and you can tell the difference between a good demo and real adoption. You have treated content as product, not as someone else's job, and have worked with or led a content operation. Experience with public APIs, webhooks, or platform work. Experience managing people, even a small team or a dotted line. Interview process Our process aims to be high-signal and help you learn about WeTravel and our people. Two interviews will be realistic working sessions. No take-home assignments. The whole process will take only a few weeks. Screen Recruiter screen (30 min): introduction, background, motivation. 1st round Hiring manager interview (60 min): your background in depth, the role, your questions. 2nd round Live whiteboard session (60 min, onsite): a real Trips decision worked through together, for example Trip page redesign, Copilot scope, or Library content prioritization. Assesses structured thinking, clear reasoning out loud, and product judgment under incomplete information. Team working session (45 min): with a Product Manager, an Engineering Manager, and a Designer: Working through your product management experience, plus a UX collaboration exercise. 3rd round CEO conversation (30 min): A two-way discussion about mission, ambition, and culture. A Final Note Our clients are entrepreneurs and artisans who pour their passion into creating bucket-list experiences. Helping them grow their businesses is what motivates us, and what would motivate the right PM for the Trips domain. If that resonates, I'd love to meet you. Steven Equal Opportunities WeTravel is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. If you're excited about this opportunity and believe you're a good fit, we encourage you to apply and join us in transforming the travel industry!

Solutions Engineer - Audit & Accounting

DataSnipper·Netherlands

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our high-performing EMEA Solutions Engineering team, focusing on our Southern European market. At DataSnipper, a “Solutions Engineer” is essentially a technical audit advisor. Your audit expertise is the core skill required - not programming or engineering. This is a critical, high-impact role that bridges advanced product capabilities with real customer use cases - from technical discovery and demo creation to pilots, solution validation, and strategic deal support. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our presence, revenue growth, and long-term strategy in one of our most important markets globally. If you thrive in entrepreneurial, fast-scaling environments and want to directly influence the next phase of our hypergrowth, this role is for you. Why DataSnipper? Provide continuous feedback to Product & Engineering on use cases and feature gaps. Collaborate with AEs and AMs to drive new revenue, upsell, and cross-sell across all customer segments — not only enterprise. Participate in all stages of the deal cycle, including discovery, demos, pilots, RFPs, and infosec questionnaires. Own CRM documentation, deal handovers, and solution fit validation. Take initiative in building new workflows, improving SE practices, and contributing to global SE initiatives. Serve as a trusted technical advisor influencing customer tech & AI strategy. Engineering Manager, Excel Agents

DataSnipper·Netherlands

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Engineering Manager to join our Excel Agents Team in the Amsterdam office. Working in a bootstrapped and profitable scaleup, you'll have the unique opportunity to lead a team building the intelligence layer that automates the assurance lifecycle and brings AI directly into the workflows of auditors worldwide. Why DataSnipper? Audit and finance are still massively manual, and we're changing that. DataSnipper is a $1B, bootstrapped unicorn with 600,000+ users across 180+ countries, already embedded in the daily workflows of top audit and accounting firms. Now, we're taking things further with our Excel Agent, bringing AI directly into where the work actually happens. Unlike generic AI tools, we don't sit on the sidelines. Our AI operates inside Excel, with access to real documents and audit evidence, meaning it doesn't just generate answers, it does the work, with full traceability. We're not just applying AI, we're redefining how audits get done. If you want to build something category-defining at scale, this is the place. What You Will Do Lead an engineering team through outcomes, not tasks; set clear goals with the team and trust them to figure out how. Make the team measurably better; raise the engineering bar, grow engineers into bigger problems, and address performance issues directly when they arise. Drive a step change in what the team can do with AI; not just shipping faster, but tackling harder problems, raising quality, and expanding what the team can credibly own. Lead the team responsible for building AI-powered agents that automate assurance workflows, from risk assessment and evidence gathering to control testing and documentation generation. Own the technical direction and architecture of the Excel Agent platform, ensuring agents are reliable, observable, secure, and effective in real customer workflows. Guide the team in designing and scaling agentic systems that combine LLMs, document intelligence, business workflows, and human oversight. Partner closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to shape the roadmap and translate customer needs into impactful AI experiences. Make the architectural and technical calls that shape the team's systems, and stay close enough to the code to do so credibly. Lead the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and contribute to how DataSnipper leverages AI across the broader engineering organization. Help shape the team's scope as it evolves, including expanding ownership areas and standing up new teams when needed. Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, documentation, and operational excellence. What You Bring At least 3 years of leading and managing engineering teams, driving performance, growth, and professional development through hands-on mentorship, feedback, and goal setting. Minimum 5 years as a software engineer with a passion for building scalable, reliable, and high-quality software systems. Track record of leading engineering teams that build with AI day to day, and making those teams measurably more effective as a result. Experience building AI-powered products or platforms, ideally involving LLMs, agentic workflows, document processing, or automation systems. An empowerment style of management; you lead through outcomes and trust, not by assigning tasks. Strong product aptitude; can challenge product framing, translate customer needs into technical solutions, and make effective roadmap tradeoffs. Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud native development. Experience operating systems in production with a focus on reliability, observability, and maintainability. A track record of growing engineers and creating high-performing teams. Strategic thinker; able to shape product direction, technical direction, and team scope, not just execute on what's handed down. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving scale-up environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience building and deploying GenAI applications in production. Experience with agentic systems, orchestration frameworks, or AI-powered workflow automation. Experience with Python and modern backend development practices. Familiarity with Azure AI services, document intelligence, and cloud infrastructure. Experience with observability and monitoring tools. Experience working in startups or scaleups. Experience in fintech, audit technology, or document-intensive workflows. Strong understanding of testing strategies and engineering quality practices. What We Offer Be part of one of the fastest-growing, profitable unicorn scale-ups in the Netherlands with a global impact Equity (Stock Appreciation Rights) to share the company's success and growth Excellent salary package, competitive for top tech talent Pension plan with a 6% contribution on top of your base salary 28 vacation days per year (full-time) to support your work-life balance Hybrid work model with at least 3 days onsite in our dynamic Amsterdam office Daily, freshly prepared lunches by our in-house chef to keep you energized NS business card for easy commuting to the office Access to continuous learning and development initiatives to grow your skills Engage with a vibrant international team spread across five global offices Company-wide events like DataSnipper GO where global teams come together Access to OpenUp, a mental health and wellness platform supporting your wellbeing Friday drinks and various social activities are designed for team bonding and fun

Senior Technical Product Manager — Document Intelligence

DataSnipper·Netherlands

We're looking for a Technical PM to own the document intelligence platform — the tooling that turns messy, unstructured documents into clean, structured, agent-ready data. Extraction, classification, summarization, storage, indexing, and retrieval of document-based data are the raw material every agentic workflow at DataSnipper depends on. This is a technical, engineering-facing role focused on tool and data infrastructure, not agent orchestration. You’ll own the critical extraction and processing layers that drive the core of our agentic work. If the extraction is wrong, every agent downstream inherits the error; your job is to make the data foundation accurate, fast, and reliable at scale. It's a product role at heart: you translate what customers and the agent teams need into the architecture and quality bar that delivers it — product judgment expressed through technical decisions. You'll spend your time in pipeline and data-architecture discussions alongside ML and backend engineers, defining extraction quality and the evals that measure it. When you work with go-to-market, it's to turn accuracy, coverage, and reliability into a story the market trusts. If you're passionate about turning messy, unstructured documents into clean, reliable data — and you've dug deep on something like extraction, classification, parsing/OCR, or measuring data quality at scale — this role is for you. About DataSnipper Audit and finance are still massively manual and we are changing that. DataSnipper is a $1B, bootstrapped unicorn with 600,000+ users across 180+ countries, already embedded in the daily workflows of top audit and accounting firms. Now, we are taking things further with our Excel Agent, bringing AI directly into where the work actually happens. Unlike generic AI tools, we do not sit on the sidelines. Our AI operates inside Excel, with access to real documents and audit evidence, meaning it does not just generate answers, it does the work, with full traceability. We are not just applying AI, we are redefining how audit gets done. If you want to build something category-defining at scale, this is the place. What you'll own The document intelligence pipeline. Technical direction for how we ingest, parse, extract, classify, and summarize unstructured documents — the tooling that converts raw documents into structured, queryable data. Accuracy and coverage across document types are your core mandate. Product strategy. Own the product strategy for the document intelligence platform, translating customer and agent-team needs into clear requirements and the tooling roadmap (APIs, workflows, and internal platforms) that makes those needs shippable and maintainable. Document storage, indexing & retrieval. How processed documents and their derived data are stored, indexed, and served — so agentic flows can retrieve the right information quickly and reliably. Non-functional requirements of the platform. How well the platform runs — extraction accuracy, throughput, latency, cost per document, reliability, scalability across document volume and variety, and observability. These are your primary success metrics, not feature counts. Quality & evals. Own the creation and running of the evals that measure and improve extraction, classification, and summarization quality at scale — defining the quality bar each capability meets before it ships. You work hand in hand with our LLM Ops team, who own the eval infrastructure; you own the evals themselves and what they tell us. Model & tooling strategy. Decisions on models, extraction techniques, and build-vs-buy across the document-processing stack; cost/performance/accuracy trade-offs; staying current as document-AI techniques evolve. Cross-functional partnership. Engineering is your primary partner — you operate as a technical peer to engineering managers and tech leads. You serve the agent teams (your data is their foundation) and partner closely with the Integrations team on how documents get in and results get out. Who you are A tinkerer. You build to understand — you'll prototype an extraction or test a classification approach rather than theorize about it. A product thinker in an engineer's seat. You don't need to be an auditor, but you love representing the customer and the business problem — and turning that into a robust, well-architected data platform. The technical depth is in service of product value, not an end in itself. A systems-and-data mind. You think in pipelines, data quality, and infrastructure that holds up under volume and variety. Highly autonomous and entrepreneurial. You find the problems that matter, set direction, and drive without waiting to be told. You treat your area like your own company — scrappy, outcome-obsessed, comfortable under ambiguity. What you'll bring Must-have: 4+ years in product management, with 2+ years on technical/platform/data products (APIs, infrastructure, data pipelines, ML systems, or developer tools) Strong grounding in document or data processing: extraction, classification, parsing/OCR, summarization, or other intelligent-document-processing / NLP techniques — with enough grasp of LLM-based approaches to judge when they're the right tool Background in distributed systems, data infrastructure, or pipelines — you understand how processing systems behave under scale, volume, and variety Treats non-functional requirements as a first-class product surface: accuracy, throughput, latency, cost, reliability, observability Hands-on experience creating and running evals or quality-measurement methods for AI/ML or data systems at scale Fluency in model and tooling operations: model/technique selection, build-vs-buy, cost/performance/accuracy trade-offs Can write technical specs that engineers review for feasibility (not correctness) and prototype with code to validate hypotheses; comfortable with architecture trade-offs (accuracy vs. cost, coverage vs. latency) Strong-to-have: Former software engineer, ML engineer, or data scientist who moved into product Hands-on experience with document AI / IDP, OCR, NLP, or unstructured-data systems specifically A public point of view on AI or document intelligence — writing, talks, OSS — or the appetite to build one Experience in audit, accounting, or financial services (domain context for the documents we process) What we offer Be part of one of the fastest-growing, profitable unicorn scale-ups in the Netherlands with a global impact. Equity (Stock Appreciation Rights) to share in the company’s success and growth. Pension plan with a 6% contribution on top of your base salary. 28 vacation days per year (full-time) to support your work-life balance. Hybrid work model with at least 3 days onsite in our dynamic Amsterdam office. Daily, freshly prepared lunches by our in-house chef to keep you energised. NS business card for easy commuting to the office. A structured onboarding programme designed to set you up for success, including dedicated time to learn our product and customers before you hit the ground running. Senior Software Engineer - LLM Ops & Evals

DataSnipper·Netherlands

Every AI call in DataSnipper goes through us. Product teams do not talk to model providers directly, they talk to our gateway. We are responsible for how inference is routed, how it fails over, what it costs, and how anyone can tell whether the output is any good. The second half of the job is evaluation. We are building the platform teams use to measure AI quality: versioned datasets, experiment tracking, and evaluation runs they can act on. It is a hard problem and largely an open one, so you will have real influence over how we solve it. This is a small team with a large blast radius. You will own real production systems, set the standards other teams build against, and see your work in front of hundreds of thousands of users in audit and finance. What you will do Technical Delivery Own the LLM gateway: routing, provider failover, rate limits, retries, and cost attribution across multiple model providers Deploy, version and deprecate models across clouds, regions and environments, including quota and capacity planning, managed as infrastructure as code Build the shared evaluation platform: versioned datasets, experiment tracking, run and result schemas, reporting, and trace linkage back to the run Own the infrastructure for async and long-running AI workloads Reliability, Security & On-Call Own observability for AI traffic: latency, retries and fallbacks, token usage, cost and errors, per team and per use case Take part in the on-call rotation, run incidents, and close the follow-ups Implement the security and compliance controls the platform is held to: retention, access control, RBAC and SSO Collaboration & Impact Define and maintain clean integration contracts between the platform and the teams that consume it Partner with product and ML engineers to turn their requirements into platform capabilities that are self-service rather than a request queue What you will bring Must-Have 5+ years in backend or platform engineering, with strong production Python Experience building or running LLM inference infrastructure: a gateway or routing layer with multiple providers, failover, rate limiting and cost attribution Experience with cloud at the infrastructure level and infrastructure as code (we run across Azure and GCP with Terraform) Experience running a shared service in production: on-call, incidents, postmortems, SLOs Hands-on experience with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana), including instrumenting services and designing dashboards and alerts Comfort with privacy and compliance work: PII handling, anonymisation, retention, access control Experience building platform or shared-service capabilities consumed by multiple internal teams Nice-to-Have Experience with LLM or agent evaluation Temporal or another durable workflow engine Self-hosted inference, capacity planning, load testing Synthetic data or document anonymisation pipelines Document AI: VLMs, OCR, structured extraction and the metrics that go with it Domain experience in audit, accounting or fintech What we expect Ownership: You own work end-to-end, anticipate issues, and ensure high-quality delivery without close supervision Growth Mindset: You encourage open feedback exchange and provide clear, balanced feedback that helps others grow Collaboration: You build strong cross-functional relationships and influence peers through expertise, data, and empathy Adaptability: You navigate ambiguity calmly, model positive behavior, and help peers adjust through clear communication Judgment: You exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations, balance speed and accuracy, and adjust priorities proactively Recruitment steps Recruiter screen Hiring Manager interview Peer programming session System design interview Final interviews with Engineering leadership

Senior Applied AI Engineer – Agent Runtime

DataSnipper·Netherlands

We are looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to join the Agent Runtime team behind Alwin, our new Agentic Automation Platform for audit and finance. Alwin agents run for long times, work through multi-step audit procedures over client evidence, and return finished work papers with every number traced back to source. Humans review and sign off. The runtime is the layer every agent depends on: the model access, the base system prompt and context, the tools (document extraction, retrieval, sandboxes, MCP integrations), the orchestration of agents and sub-agents, and the observability and evals that tell us whether an agent is performing to objective standards. You will own the applied AI half of that layer. Product teams build audit-specific agents on top of it; you decide how the base agent reasons, what tools it gets and at what abstraction, how it manages context over long horizons, and how we measure and hill-climb accuracy, speed and cost. This is a hands-on role in a small team with a large blast radius. Your work goes in front of hundreds of thousands of audit and finance professionals, and the problems are largely open: there is no playbook for production agents in a regulated domain, so you will help write it. About DataSnipper DataSnipper is the Agentic Automation Platform for audit and finance. Known worldwide for our Excel add-in, we are now building Alwin by DataSnipper: purpose-built agents that execute audit and finance workflows end-to-end, with every output traceable back to source evidence and a human signing off. Headquartered in Amsterdam with offices in New York, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Sydney, we are used by hundreds of thousands of professionals at the world's largest firms. Our mission: automate the mundane, unlock the meaningful. What You Will Do Agent Engineering Own the base agents: system prompt, context engineering, memory and state management for tasks that span many turns and hours of execution Design how agents use the tool layer, including document extraction, retrieval, code and file sandboxes, and MCP integrations, choosing the right level of abstraction so agents handle edge cases without wasting effort on mechanical steps Implement agentic patterns such as sub-agent composition, planning modes, human-in-the-loop gates, and model routing across multiple providers Ship end-to-end: from prototype with our audit domain experts, through evaluation, to production on Alwin Define and build automatic processes that improve the agent continuously over time Keep costs under control and implement cost-efficient approaches to AI-centric workflows Evaluation & Quality Extract signal from long agent trajectories: attribute outcomes to specific reasoning steps and tool calls, classify failure modes, and turn them into fixes Hill-climb accuracy, latency and token cost, and make the trade-offs explicit for the teams building on the runtime Reliability & Collaboration Instrument agent behaviour with our observability stack and use production traces to drive improvements Partner with Agent Experience teams, Document Intelligence and the AI Platform team to turn their needs into runtime capabilities that are self-service rather than a request queue Stay on the frontier: evaluate new models, techniques and agent patterns, and bring the ones that hold up into production What You Will Bring Must-Have 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong, production-grade Python Experience shipping and operating an LLM-powered product in production: you have dealt with hallucinations, latency spikes, tool failures and cost explosions at scale, and can explain what broke and how you fixed it Hands-on experience building agentic systems: control loops, tool selection, planning versus execution, retries and fallbacks, not only prompt-and-parse pipelines Experience with evaluation: you have built datasets, run offline and online experiments, and used the results to make an AI system measurably better Fluency with LLM APIs and agent frameworks across more than one model provider Proficient with AI-assisted engineering and excited about working with coding agents daily Strong fundamentals in software architecture and system design, and a track record of reliable, well-tested delivery Excellent communication; you can work directly with auditors and product partners to define what "correct" means Nice-to-Have Experience with Durable workflow engines or long-running background task systems Experience with RAG and retrieval pipelines over large, messy document corpora Document AI: VLMs, OCR, structured extraction and their metrics Sandboxed code execution, MCP, or multi-agent orchestration in production Domain experience in audit, accounting or fintech Familiarity with OWASP GenAI security practices and working in a regulated, privacy-sensitive environment What We Expect Ownership: You own work end-to-end, anticipate issues, and ensure high-quality delivery with minimal support. We expect you to influence the technical direction of the team. Growth Mindset: You encourage open feedback exchange and provide clear, balanced feedback that helps others grow Collaboration: You build strong cross-functional relationships and influence peers through expertise, data, and empathy Adaptability: You navigate ambiguity calmly, model positive behavior, and help peers adjust through clear communication Judgment: You exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations, balance speed and accuracy, and adjust priorities proactively What we offer Being part of one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in the Netherlands Make an impact by disrupting the audit industry with us 28 vacation days Excellent salary Pension plan Stock participation plan Hybrid work (Amsterdam-based) International team and environment Daily lunch 🍽️ Mental health support (OpenUp) Social events and team activities 🤩 Recruitment steps Recruiter screen Hiring Manager interview Peer programming session System design interview Final interviews with Engineering leadership

DataSnipper·Netherlands

We are looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join the Team at DataSnipper. You will embed with our customers to build and refine the AI agents that automate their audit and finance workflows, taking them from zero to live in daily use and turning what you learn on the ground into the signal that shapes our product. You sit at the exact point where our agent platform meets real assurance work, directly reducing manual effort and accelerating audit outcomes. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role in a high-caliber team that moves fast and holds a high bar. You will design and build agents, debug their accuracy in front of a customer, make the feasibility calls, and then make sure engineering hears what you saw. The platform is still being shaped, so the role rewards people who are energized by building on something while making it better, not people who need fully stable tooling before they can deliver. Why DataSnipper? Audit and finance are still massively manual, and we're changing that. DataSnipper is a $1B, bootstrapped unicorn with 600,000+ users across 180+ countries, already embedded in the daily workflows of top audit and accounting firms. Now we're taking things further with our agent platform, bringing AI directly into where the work actually happens. Unlike generic AI tools, we don't sit on the sidelines. Our agents operate inside the customer's real workflows, with access to real documents and audit evidence, meaning they don't just generate answers, they do the work, with full traceability. We're not just applying AI. We're redefining how audit gets done. If you want to build something category-defining at scale, and do it shoulder to shoulder with the firms using it, this is the place. What You Will Do Deployment & Delivery Build and earn the credibility with senior stakeholders like top-firm audit partners, engagement leaders, and methodology owners ****earning the credibility to influence how an entire practice adopts AI Design engagement programs that take a customer from zero to 20+ agents embedded directly into finance workflows and driving measurable impact Run office hours and resolve remaining issues, then hand off agent know-how cleanly to the Customer Success Manager who owns ongoing account health Agent Build & Quality Build the more complex agents yourself, solving prompting and accuracy challenges against real audit evidence Assess the feasibility of candidate agents, and make the call on what is achievable within an engagement Produce robust agent configurations that anticipate edge cases and hold up under real customer use Feedback & Impact Operate a tight feedback loop between the customer and our product and engineering teams so issues and feature gaps reach the right people fast Surface gaps with enough specificity that they can be prioritized rather than lost and work closely with product and engineering on ideation and prioritization Foster documentation and knowledge sharing across delivery, product, engineering, and GTM teams Professional Services leadership & Product Influence Play a founding role in shaping DataSnipper's professional services offering, translating early deployment learnings into repeatable frameworks, engagement models, and delivery standards as the FDE function grows Dedicate part of your time working directly with the product team to help design and develop new product capabilities, bringing the customer and deployment perspective into early-stage product thinking Mentor incoming FDE team members as the function scales, sharing domain knowledge, delivery instincts, and agent-building craft What You Will Bring Must-Have Strong technical aptitude and structured thinking, with the judgment to decompose a customer workflow into agents and decide quickly what is feasible and what is not Domain expertise in audit and/or finance or strong interest w/ ability to learn Technical literacy with data and documents, enough to configure them correctly and reason about what is going wrong The ability to do this in front of customers, under time pressure, without losing their confidence when something breaks Comfortable using a variety of AI tools like Claude in the build and test loop to move quickly Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to make a customer need legible to engineering Bias toward shipping and iterating rather than perfecting in isolation, and willingness to travel to customer sites when an engagement calls for it Nice-to-Have Prior Forward Deployed Engineer, solutions engineering, or implementation experience at an applied AI or enterprise software company Experience with document processing and spreadsheet-heavy workflows Familiarity with agent design patterns, evals, or AI observability Hands-on experience building with LLMs in practice: writing and refining prompts, evaluating accuracy, and debugging non-deterministic behavior What We Expect Ownership: You take features from refinement to production and stay accountable through bug-bashing, on-call response, and follow-ups. You don't wait to be told what to fix. Growth Mindset: You actively seek and give feedback, and treat reviews and pairing sessions as a chance to grow rather than to defend. Collaboration: You build trust with product, design, QA, and fellow engineers; you ask good questions and share context generously. Adaptability: You feel comfortable in a fast-changing scale-up environment, priorities shift, scope sharpens, and you help the team adjust. Judgment: You balance speed and quality, know when to push back, when to ship pragmatically, and when to escalate.
