Logistics Process Engineer

bol·Utrecht

Logistics Process Engineer Combining all parts of logistics into a smart network of warehouses and carriers   Are you eager to improve our logistics through IT innovation? Ensuring that with your data driven mindset we maximize the value of our logistic network for our shoppers and partners? Moreover, are you the one that ceases the opportunity and brings it to the finish line in a rapidly evolving environment? Then the role of Logistics Process Engineer is the one for you.   How do you make our customers happy?   When our customers receive their package at the time we promised them, at the place they indicated and with the products they ordered, we did a good job. When our customers decide to return a package, we make their experience smooth, while retaining as much value as possible. And, with 13M customers who can choose from over 32M products sourced by 51K partners and delivered from multiple warehouses and via multiple carriers, that’s a tall order. Our goal is to optimally serve our customers in a cost-efficient way, through data-driven insights and intelligent steering of bol's logistics network. It calls for leveraging advanced data science models and complex software applications. Moreover, we need to balance goals, from reducing costs to improving the customer experience and advancing our sustainability ambitions. Your role is to ensure our innovations work as advertised in our complex logistics network.   What do you do as a Logistics Process Engineer?   Together with your product team, you explore problems and identify opportunities. Some of which may seem obvious, others not so much. You help the team decide which topics to focus on and translate theoretical solutions into ‘workable’ products by using your data and analytical capabilities. You collaborate with experts, including developers who build the solution, and you drive the implementation. How can you best bring these projects across the finish line? And how can you maximize their value for bol, our customers, and partners?   This position challenges your analytical skills: crunch complex puzzles and connect the right people and ideas. Design reliable, scalable, and future-proof processes and IT solutions, and leverage your powers of persuasion and communication to identify relevant internal and external stakeholders, get them on board, and keep them engaged. And flex your project management skills by determining the right approach and managing progress in a complex environment.   You are enthusiastic about data-heavy IT innovations You have an analytical mindset, dive deep into topics, and translate data into actionable insights You assess the impact of changes on the broader logistics network You manage complex projects from initial conception to final implementation You focus on outcome over output and inspire others to adopt that approach You engage with a broad range of stakeholders; getting (and keeping) them on board is often the key to success You contribute to the Logistics Process Engineering craft by supporting the development of a standardized way of working, sharing your knowledge and experience, and onboarding new colleagues   3 reasons why this is(n’t) for you Complexity is your best buddy You are energized by complex challenges in which technology, processes, and the physical world meet. You can complete complex projects with your analytical skills from scratch, including alignment with team members and stakeholders. True team player You know you can’t do it alone. You're a great listener, easily connect with others, get your message across clearly, and are energized by working with enthusiastic colleagues and external parties. Keep It Simple, Stupid! Keep It Simple, Stupid is one of your mantras: you expertly identify potential process bottlenecks and excel at solving problems.   Me, myself, and I You value personal success over team results. You are from Mars, software engineers are from Venus You can come up with absolutely brilliant theoretical solutions but have a hard time explaining them to the IT team. You seem to operate on different wavelengths. All decisions are final Once a decision is made, it is made. Changing circumstances and evolving insights be damned, you’re not budging.   This is where you’ll work The Product Area Logistics consists of in total ten product teams divided over four product groups that each have a unique focus. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Product Analysts, Software Engineers, and fellow Logistics Process Engineers in a product-led environment. The teams are all about working outcome driven, helping each other succeed and having fun. Our biggest strength is that we treat each other as equals and are eager to learn from each other. You’ll also join our Logistics Process Engineering craft, where you will report to a lead. Our craft is the largest field of expertise within the logistics product organization and a great group to inspire and be inspired by.

Affiliate Manager

HousingAnywhere·Netherlands

We’re on a mission to become the go-to destination for students across Europe to find a trusted home away from home. We make every step of the rental journey simple and seamless, so students can focus on what really matters: studying, exploring, and growing. With HousingAnywhere, Kamernet, and Studapart under our roof, we’re Europe’s largest student rental platform. You’ll find us in Rotterdam, Paris, and Cergy, always guided by our four core values: Ownership, We are enablers, We are changemakers, and We are connectors. Join us in empowering students to unlock their potential through a safe, online, rental experience. Your role As our new Affiliate Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of our affiliate and partnerships channel across all three of our brands. This is a core individual contributor role designed for a mid-level expert who is as comfortable negotiating a commercial deal as they are debugging a tracking link. You aren't just administering an affiliate network dashboard or waiting for partners to come to us. You will own the portfolio end to end: finding partners, negotiating the terms, managing the data integrations, proving what got delivered, optimizing their performance and having the direct conversations when it doesn't. If you want a channel you can genuinely build and grow rather than maintain, this role is for you. Key responsibilities Own the affiliate and partnerships channel: Grow the affiliate programme across HousingAnywhere, Kamernet, and Studapart - partner identification, outreach, negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing commercial management, across both network and direct deals. Run partner performance conversations directly: Track partner-level traffic, bookings, and revenue, and lead the conversation when the numbers move. Own the tracking that makes the channel measurable: Manage tracking links, partner IDs, and UTM hygiene, and work with our data engineering team on attribution across different platforms. Negotiate and manage commercial terms: Structure fixed-fee, CPA, and hybrid deals; own the commission and invoicing cycle with the Finance department; keep the unit economics of every partner visible and work towards maximizing ROAS on your managed portfolio of partners. Build the operating layer: Standardise partner reporting and evaluate the tooling this channel needs to scale past spreadsheets. You will have a real say in what we buy and what we build. Optimize partner performance: Improve what each partner delivers. Test placements, landing pages and links, run the promotional calendar, and use commission structure to drive incremental revenue. Grow creator and influencer partnerships: Take our newest partnership motions from pilot to a repeatable programme - terms, tracking, and performance measurement included. Your team Reporting to the Head of Performance, you will join a lean, agile performance marketing team. You will work side-by-side with PPC, SEO, Paid Social and Media Buying Specialists. You will have a direct voice in shaping our global growth playbooks. Your profile 3–5 years of dedicated experience in affiliate or partnership marketing, ideally within a high-growth marketplace, B2C platform, or scale-up environment. Commercially confident: You have negotiated real deals and then held partners to them. You are comfortable telling a partner their performance has dropped and agreeing what changes. Data-driven & analytical: You are incredibly comfortable with data, Google Sheets, and analytics tools (e.g., MixPanel). You can tell the difference between a partner who stopped delivering and tracking that stopped working. Technically literate on tracking: You have worked hands-on with affiliate platforms (e.g., Impact, Awin, Tradedoubler, CJ) and understand tracking links, postbacks, and attribution well enough to diagnose a problem yourself rather than escalate it. A proven executioner: You have grown a partner portfolio from a standing start, and you prefer high autonomy and true ownership over corporate bureaucracy. Fluent in English: As our company language, strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Additional European languages are a strong advantage as our partners sit all over Europe and globally.   What’s in it for you  Depending on experience and qualifications, the salary range is €50K – €60K gross per year (based on 40 hours, including Holiday Allowance). Unlimited paid holidays, minimum-based not maximum! Position based in our Rotterdam office with hybrid working policy (2 office days). Flexibility to work remotely for up to 2 months per year! 1,000 EUR personal development budget. Complete coverage for commuting. Personal equipment, including laptop and ergonomic setup. Gym membership discount with GoVital or OneFit. Dutch/English classes budget. Variable pension scheme. Diverse international community (46+ nationalities). Strategy & Planning Manager

Your role We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Manager to help shape our strategic agenda and support high-impact business decisions. As our multi-brand marketplace scales, we are tackling complex, high-stakes challenges, ranging from pricing strategy to international city expansion and the One Platform integration. In this role, your mandate is to bring structure to ambiguity and the "so-what" to the evidence. This is not an advisory role just focused on producing decks; you will be driving actual decisions, building the go/no-go business cases for strategic bets, and running the planning cycles for our Executive Leadership Team. If you excel at taking complex marketplace dynamics and translating them into clear commercial strategies and operational playbooks, this is your sandbox.   Responsibilities Strategic problem-solving. Frame the biggest open questions facing the group - monetization & pricing strategy, market/city strategy, the One Platform integration, and drive each to a recommendation the Director and exec team can act on.  Strategic projections. Size opportunities and build the go / no-go case for strategic bets - Insurance rollout, integration sequencing, new monetization levers - before they're committed. Frameworks & playbooks. Own the design of the operating playbooks and the decision rules behind them, optimizing for profitable growth. Strategic Planning. Support the Executive Leadership Team on monthly, quarterly and annual operating and budget planning. Build the frameworks, growth projections and long-range plans that guide investment decisions across our products and markets.  Competitive & market intelligence. Own the synthesis and the strategic implication of what competitors and the market are doing - turning scattered signals into a point of view that informs the agenda.   Your team You will join the Strategy & Ops department, which bridges the gap between high-level strategy and on-the-ground execution at HousingAnywhere Group. The department includes the Analytics team and two Program Managers, all of whom collaborate closely with the rest of the business. You will join as a Senior Individual Contributor, reporting directly to the Director of Strategy & Operations.   Your profile Required Experience 4-6 years' experience, with a strong base in management consulting or a strategy/BizOps function inside a tech company - marketplace or platform business strongly preferred. This is the structured-problem-solving foundation the role runs on. Demonstrated ownership of strategy and planning cycles — annual operating plans, OKR/target-setting, or quarterly planning - not just contributing analysis into someone else's process, but running the process and owning the output. Strong structured problem-solving: can take an ambiguous, high-stakes question and turn it into a clear, defensible recommendation. Evidence of driving a decision, not just producing a deck. Strong commercial and quantitative judgment: fluent reading, interrogating, and pressure-testing analysis and models - without needing to build them. Comfortable with unit economics, funnel/conversion metrics, and take-rate mechanics. Excellent written synthesis in English - the recommendation is only as strong as how clearly it lands with an exec audience. Preferred Experience Experience setting or restructuring pricing - pricing strategy, monetization, take-rate or fee-structure design. Ties directly to the monetization/take-rate scope, so a real differentiator rather than a nice-to-have. Exposure to M&A integration or post-merger integration — relevant to the One Platform work. Familiarity with two-sided marketplace dynamics (supply/demand balance, liquidity, host/guest or landlord/tenant economics). Additional European language useful given the DE/IT/ES/FR/NL footprint, but not required.   What’s in it for you  Unlimited paid holidays, minimum-based not maximum! Pet-friendly office in Rotterdam city centre.  Team-building events and after-work drinks every Friday.
