Senior HR Business Partner

Workwize·Amsterdam (Hybrid)

At Workwize, we’re helping IT teams to easily equip their remote and global teams with all necessary IT equipment. Our automated SaaS platform simplifies hardware deployment, management, and retrieval with fast, reliable deliveries in 100+ countries. With 50.000 users and 120.000 devices under management, we’re solving hybrid work challenges like laptop deliveries, returns and equipment tracking, allowing IT teams to focus less on manual hassles and more on strategic initiatives. Join our team to help shape the future of global collaboration. At Workwize, your work will make a real impact in building smarter, more connected workplaces worldwide. LinkedIn has also recognized Workwize as one of the Top 10 Startups for 2025 in the Netherlands! About the Role  We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our People Team! You will own the people agenda for multiple departments and co-own at least one company-wide initiative. That means you are both the trusted partner to your business leaders and a builder of how Workwize does People work at scale. Sitting in leadership conversations, you shape decisions on org design and workforce planning, and you drive the programs that make teams better. Our leaders are making more people decisions, faster, with higher stakes and we are looking for someone to partner with our leadership who can keep up and see problems before they escalate. Someone who brings structure to messy situations, and has the courage to push back when a decision is heading in the wrong direction. If your current HRBP role is mostly reactive, mostly admin, or mostly waiting for someone else to decide what gets built, this will feel very different. If you have been looking for a place where you get to build the practice, own outcomes, and work at the pace of a scaling business, keep reading. Key Responsibilities Partner directly with department heads on organization design, workforce planning, change management, and employee engagement. Coach managers so they actually get better at leading people, not just check a box. Own employee relations from medium-complexity cases through sensitive exits and compliance matters. Lead company-wide People initiatives (performance cycles, engagement programs, onboarding redesigns) and make them land in your departments, not just launch. Work with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategy, leveling, and quality for every role in your portfolio. TA runs sourcing, screening, and closing. You make sure the right roles get opened at the right level and the bar stays high. Partner with People Ops on lifecycle execution. They build systems and processes. You drive adoption and feed back what needs to change. Turn people data into decisions: use attrition trends, engagement signals, and performance patterns to diagnose problems and bring leaders clear recommendations they can act on. Act as the feedback loop between the business and the rest of the People function. Success in your first 90 days: You are the trusted people partner for every leader in your portfolio. They come to you first, not as an afterthought. You have independently identified and resolved at least 3 real people problems that nobody asked you to find. Leaders can name what changed. You have a running operating rhythm with your departments, TA, and People Ops that drives weekly decisions on hires, cases, and priorities. You own a structured view of your portfolio: every open role, every at-risk employee, every active case, with a clear next step for each. You have taken ownership of your first company-wide People initiative and have a delivery plan in motion. Success in your first year: Your departments run structured performance and calibration cycles that produce real outcomes, not paperwork. Hiring for your portfolio is planned, on track, and aligned with business priorities. Leaders no longer escalate hiring frustrations. because the process works. You have delivered at least one company-wide People initiative end to end, from design through adoption, with measurable impact. You have coached at least two managers through a difficult people situation where the outcome was better because of your involvement. The teams you support are measurably healthier: lower regretted attrition, stronger engagement, better manager effectiveness. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven track record as an HRBP supporting multiple departments simultaneously in a fast-scaling tech or SaaS environment. Demonstrated experience coaching managers with measurable impact on how they lead, not just how they fill in forms. You have owned employee relations cases end to end, including sensitive exits and compliance matters, with defensible outcomes. Track record of using people data to change business decisions, not just report on them. You have led company-wide People programs (performance, engagement, onboarding) and delivered adoption across multiple teams. Proven ability to manage competing priorities across senior stakeholders at pace, without losing structure. You push back on leaders when a people decision is heading in the wrong direction, and you can describe what happened next. This role is not for you if:   You prefer a well-defined, stable HR environment where the processes are set You are looking for a pure advisory role where someone else implements You need detailed instructions before you can move. Here, you will often need to figure out the right approach and then go execute it You find it uncomfortable to push back on senior leaders when you believe they are making a mistake Workwize Offers Flexible hybrid work environment. Top-notch tools and equipment provided. Vibrant, entrepreneurial culture with opportunities for growth. Off-sites and multi-yearly team bonding events. Team lunches and surprise events to keep things fun. Pension scheme. Classpass corporate membership. Our Team   Becoming part of Workwize means making an impact. Operations intern

Workwize·Amsterdam

About the Role  Workwize deploys, manages, and retrieves IT equipment for distributed teams in 100+ countries. Behind every laptop that lands on someone's desk is a global product catalogue, a network of hardware suppliers and distributors, and an order flow that has to be confirmed, tracked, and fixed when it breaks. We are looking for Operations Interns to join the Catalog and Supplier team for 5 to 6 months. This is a learning role, but not a shadowing one. Our interns own real workflows from the ground up, use data and AI tooling to work out what is actually going on, and are trusted to change how things run when they can show it works better. We hire for analytical ability and ownership. We will teach you the operations. What you will own You will start close to the work and take ownership quickly. Within your first weeks you will run one of our core workflows end to end, for example: Supplier order confirmations. Own the daily unconfirmed-orders queue: chase suppliers, resolve blockers (stock-outs, pricing mismatches, substitutions, delayed dispatch), and keep confirmations inside our 24 business hour SLA. You decide what gets escalated and when. Catalogue data quality. Own a slice of the global catalogue in our PIM: keep specs, pricing, availability, and end-of-life status accurate across suppliers and regions, and find the errors before clients do. Supplier performance. Own the scorecard for a set of suppliers: pull the data, build the view, and bring the findings to the supplier review. From there you will: Measure it. Build and maintain the metrics behind your workflow: confirmation cycle time, SLA adherence, error and rework rates, backlog trends. Turn raw exports from Zendesk, our PIM, and supplier feeds into views the team acts on. Fix it. Identify where manual work, re-keying, and chasing are eating time, then design and ship the fix. This might be an n8n or Make automation, an LLM-based classifier for supplier emails, a cleaner data model, or simply a better process. You will present the before and after. Document it. Write the SOPs, playbooks, and checklists so the workflow runs without you and the next person inherits structure rather than tribal knowledge. Connect it. Coordinate across Ops, Finance, Customer Success, Product, and our external suppliers and distributors so that what you change lands cleanly for everyone downstream. How you will grow We build our operations team from the inside. Interns who show ownership and analytical depth move into Operations Analyst roles, take on larger domains and supplier portfolios, and from there lead cross-functional projects and process redesigns across the business. Several of the people you will work with started exactly where you are starting. You will have a named mentor, structured learning goals for the internship, and regular reviews focused on what you have owned, what you have measured, and what you have changed. Who we are looking for Education and experience Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Econometrics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field A previous internship, project, or role where you worked with real operational or commercial data is a strong plus Interest in B2B hardware, IT procurement, or marketplace operations is a bonus, not a requirement Analytical and technical skills Strong with data: you can take a messy export, clean it, join it, and turn it into an answer. Confident in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL or Python is a strong plus Hands-on with AI and automation: you have used LLMs and low-code tools (n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar) to build something that worked, in coursework, projects, or a previous role, and you can explain and modify every part of it Comfortable in the tools operations run on: Notion, Slack, ticketing systems such as Zendesk Familiarity with catalogue, PIM, or ERP systems is a plus How you work Ownership: you take responsibility early, defend and extend your choices, and challenge the status quo respectfully Tenacious and proactive: you see challenges as energising and move problems forward without waiting to be asked Inquisitive: you ask good questions, dig into root causes, and learn quickly Structured communicator: you are clear in written and verbal updates, including with external suppliers and senior stakeholders Commercially minded: you think one step ahead and understand how catalogue and supplier decisions affect cost, speed, and the client experience What Workwize offers Real ownership from week one and a clear path into a permanent operations role Mentorship from experienced operations, catalogue, and supplier management specialists Flexibility to work in a hybrid/remote environment, balancing office and home settings The best working setup, with all necessary tools and equipment provided A vibrant, entrepreneurial work environment that encourages innovation and growth Our Team   Becoming part of Workwize means making an impact. We make sure that we will contribute to the change in the way of working. For us it is also important that we make an impact on our employees, that they feel challenged and ease. We consist of a rapid growing and ambitious team with all different backgrounds. Product Engineer (Hybrid amsterdam)

Workwize·Amsterdam

Build real impact. Shape the future of work. We're hiring a product engineer, a new kind of engineer early in their career. Someone who cares more about what ships than about how many lines they wrote to ship it. You have used AI / AI agents as your default way of working to build and launch things at a pace that surprises people. You don't need a long CV. You do need to be able to showcase you've actually built and shipped products and features, as well as have experience working alongside a team. If you get a kick out of taking a rough idea to a working version by the end of the week, putting it in front of real users, and then making it better, you'll feel at home here. About Workwize Workwize is the platform IT teams use to equip and manage remote and global workforces. We deliver, track, and retrieve hardware in over 100 countries, with 50,000 users and 120,000 devices under management today. We're one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in the Netherlands, a LinkedIn Top 10 Startup (2025) and ranked #6 by Deloitte in the 50 fastest-growing Dutch tech companies. We work from a flat, open environment out of our Amsterdam HQ and across 40+ nationalities worldwide. What you'll do You'll own product ideas from the first sketch to something customers actually use. Day to day that looks like: Turning a problem into a working prototype fast, then hardening the ones that prove their worth into production features. Using agents and AI tooling to design, build, test, and ship, and knowing exactly where to trust the output and where to check it yourself. Making product calls, not just taking tickets. You'll decide what's worth building, what to cut, and what "good enough to ship" looks like. Setting up the evaluation and monitoring that tells you whether what you shipped is actually working once it's live, then iterating. Working directly with customers, support, and the rest of the product team to find the highest-leverage thing to build next. Who you are You have around 1–2+ years of experience and a solid technical foundation. You understand how software systems fit together, how data flows, and why things break. You don't need to be the strongest raw coder in the room, but you can read, reason about, and debug what you and your agents produce. You've actually built and shipped things. Side projects, internships, a first job, hackathon wins, small tools people use. You can point to them and walk us through the choices you made. You've worked in a team. You know how to take feedback, review and get reviewed, and move something forward with other people. You have real product sense for someone early in their career. You can look at a half-formed request and see the job to be done, and you have taste about what makes something good to use. You use AI and agents as your default way of working, and you keep up as the tools change. You treat a model like a fast but unreliable teammate whose work you always check. You move fast and take ownership. You'd rather ship something small and learn than plan something big and wait. You're direct, curious, and happy to challenge how things are done. That fits how we work. Nice to have A first role or internship at a SaaS or product company. Side projects or small products you built mostly on your own and got into people's hands. Any hands-on experience running evals, watching inference cost, or dealing with model failure modes like hallucination. If you don't have this yet, we'll teach you. This is an early-career role. We care far more about what you've built and how you think than about years on paper. Workwize Offers Flexible hybrid or remote work environment. Top-notch tools and equipment provided.
