Forward Deployed Engineer

RebelsAI·Netherlands

We trainen mensen zodat zij AI effectief inzetten in hun dagelijkse werk.

Monitor the regional regulatory landscape for shifting AML/CFT, sanctions, and financial crime developments, ensuring material updates are proactively analyzed and escalated to the Global Policy team for framework integration. Serve as the definitive regional second-line authority, providing formal compliance sign-off on high-risk decisions and complex escalations elevated to the Governance and Risk Committee (GRC). Provide strategic regulatory guidance and compliance advisory on Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Acceptable Use Policies (AUPs), novel customer use cases, and new regional license applications to enable safe, compliant market entry. Lead the deployment and calibration of specialized financial crime compliance training curricula for regional business units, commercial teams, and in-country staff to foster a risk-aware operational culture.     Who you are We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory. Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminology, Public Policy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related analytical field. CAMS certification or an equivalent globally recognized compliance credential (e.g., ICA International Diploma in AML). 12 to 15+ years of experience in AML, Sanctions, and Financial Crime Compliance within financial services, fintech, payments, or banking. At least 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing decentralized, multi-jurisdictional compliance teams or serving as a registered MLRO within Europe or the UK. Experience providing compliance advisory on product rollouts, licensing strategies, and customer use cases within a matrixed corporate environment. A high-ownership, pragmatic approach, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence cross-functional executives and external partners. Preferred qualifications Advanced degree such as a Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or a Master’s degree in Regulatory Compliance or Financial Crime. Personal experience holding or clearing senior regulatory compliance officer status, such as the FCA's SMF17 or equivalent regional central bank approvals across multiple major EMEA jurisdictions. Deep fintech and payments experience, including a strong operational understanding of Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), virtual accounts, multi-currency wallets, and cross-border payment mechanisms. Experience partnering closely with Product, Risk, and Commercial teams to support high-velocity feature launches and complex corporate onboarding workflows. Strong data literacy and comfort utilizing operational metrics, automated GRC systems, and dashboards to track compliance metrics and detect regional risk drift. Applicant Safety Policy: Fraud and Third-Party Recruiters To protect you from recruitment scams, please be aware that Airwallex will not ask for bank details, sensitive ID numbers (i.e. passport), or any form of payment during the application or interview process. Team Lead, Data Engineering

DataSnipper·Netherlands

We are looking for a Data Engineering Team Lead to lead the Data Platform team at DataSnipper. Every decision DataSnipper makes about its products runs through the data platform: which features land, which customers are getting value, what we bill for, what we fix next, and which AI capabilities add the most value. You will lead a team of two data engineers who own the systems that make that possible. That means how usage events get captured across a growing set of products, how they become trustworthy models in Snowflake, and how Customer Success, Product and GTM get to answers without waiting on us. This is a player-coach role in a small, high-ownership team. You are responsible for the people, the roadmap and the technical direction, and you stay hands-on enough to ship alongside the team and make architectural calls credibly. At DataSnipper, Team Lead is our entry point into engineering management: the same people, delivery and product responsibilities as an Engineering Manager, on a smaller team. We are a handful of people serving the whole company, so your judgment about what not to build matters as much as what the team ships. About DataSnipper DataSnipper is the driving force behind an intelligent automation platform that’s transforming the world of audit and finance. Founded in 2017, DataSnipper has skyrocketed and is now OFFICIALLY the fastest-growing software company in the Netherlands according to Deloitte Fast50 and recently achieved Unicorn status in our latest funding round. With over 400.000 users in 125+ countries and a second base in the heart of New York City, DataSnipper is shaking things up. And we’re not stopping there. At DataSnipper, we’re always on the lookout for innovators who think outside of the box. New ideas aren’t just welcomed at DataSnipper–they’re essential. What your team owns The Data Platform team works across three areas: Data Platform: reliable, scalable infrastructure that gets the right data to the right place Internal Analytics: a self-service platform so every team can be data-informed without a ticket Customer-facing Analytics: the dashboards and exports customers use to see the value they get from DataSnipper Concretely, you would be walking into billions of usage events flowing from our Excel Add-in, web apps and product backends through Azure Event Hubs into Snowflake; a dbt estate built on medallion principles and managed in dbt Cloud; Terraform-managed Snowflake and Azure infrastructure; and a set of product teams shipping AI agents faster than we can instrument them. You will also find real, named open problems rather than a tidy platform: event capture mid-consolidation, multiple methods of user attribution, and a data quality layer that is designed but not yet built. We would rather tell you that up front. What you will do Lead the team Lead a team of two data engineers through outcomes, not tasks: set clear goals with the team and trust them to figure out how Make the team measurably better: raise the engineering bar, grow each engineer into bigger problems, and address performance issues directly when they arise Run regular 1:1s, give clear and timely feedback, and own each engineer's goals and development Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, documentation and operational excellence Take part in hiring and help shape the team's scope as it evolves Own direction and delivery Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success and GTM to shape the team's roadmap, turning vague data requests into scoped, well-defined work Make the trade-offs a small team serving the whole company needs: what to build, what to defer, and when a request shouldn't become a pipeline Set the technical direction and make the architectural calls that shape the team's systems Keep Snowflake performance and cost, tech debt, dependencies and compliance obligations (audit logging, vulnerability remediation, Vanta evidence) visible and under control Be the person other engineering teams come to when they need to instrument something new Stay hands-on in the data platform Contribute to the event ingestion architecture end to end: Azure Event Hubs, Snowpipe, Fivetran, and our shared Python/TypeScript event client libraries Build and review dbt transformation pipelines that stay reliable as volume, source count and model complexity grow Define and enforce event contracts and schemas so product teams can instrument new features without silent breakage downstream Evolve the core data models (event, user, license, company) and integrate new sources such as product backends, MongoDB, HubSpot and billing Guide reverse ETL and activation work that pushes modeled data back into HubSpot, MongoDB, Postgres and GTM reporting What you bring Leadership At least 1 year leading engineers as a team lead or engineering manager: 1:1s, feedback, goal setting, performance, and development An empowerment style of leadership: you lead through outcomes and trust, not by assigning tasks Early evidence of growing engineers and raising a team's bar, and the willingness to address performance issues directly Strong product aptitude: you can challenge the framing of a request, translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions, and make roadmap trade-offs Data engineering 7+ years in data engineering or a closely related backend/platform role, with a track record of owning a data platform area end to end Deep SQL and strong Python, including query optimization and performance tuning on a cloud warehouse Production experience with a cloud data warehouse (we use Snowflake) and a modern transformation framework (we use dbt) Experience with event-driven / streaming ingestion and its failure modes: schema drift, duplication, late data, backfills Experience on a cloud platform at the infrastructure level (we're on Azure; AWS/GCP transfers fine) Solid data modeling fundamentals and the ability to defend a modeling decision to both engineers and business stakeholders Experience operating data systems in production with a focus on reliability, observability and maintainability How you work Excellent communication in English and genuine comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders Bias to action, a strong sense of ownership, and the judgment to prioritize when demand exceeds capacity Preferred qualifications Experience in a startup or scale-up, ideally as an early member of a data team Experience hiring engineers or helping a team expand its scope Experience with product analytics tooling (Mixpanel, RudderStack) and warehouse-native BI (Netspring/Optimizely Analytics, Omni, Embeddable, or similar) Experience building data products for AI or agent consumption: semantic layers, metrics layers, MCP servers, or governed self-service access Experience with Terraform, Docker and data governance at scale Reverse ETL experience and familiarity with CRM data models (HubSpot, Salesforce) or customer success platforms What we offer Being part of one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in the Netherlands Make an impact by disrupting the audit industry with us A step into engineering management, with Engineering Manager scope on a small team 28 vacation days Excellent salary Pension plan Stock participation plan Hybrid work (Amsterdam-based) International team and environment Daily lunch Mental health support (OpenUp) Social events and team activities Recruitment steps Recruiter screen Hiring Manager interview System design interview Product interview Final interviews with Engineering leadership At DataSnipper, we believe great ideas come from different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds. We are committed to building an inclusive workplace and providing every candidate with a fair and equitable hiring experience. Our hiring decisions are merit based and grounded in the skills, experience, potential, and capabilities relevant to the role. We welcome applicants regardless of age, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic that makes you, you. Senior Product Manager Digital Asset Management

bol·Utrecht

What you'll do as a Senior Product Manager Digital Asset Management  Digital assets are becoming one of bol's most strategic assets. They help customers discover products, make informed purchasing decisions and trust our assortment. They also increasingly power new shopping experiences, from social-inspired shopping to conversational search and AI-powered commerce.  As Senior Product Manager Digital Asset Management, you'll lead the Digital Asset Management team within Assortment, Price & Promotions (APPA), part of Core I.  Your mission? To maximize the value of digital assets across bol, while evolving the capabilities that will power the next generation of shopping experiences.  Today: owning bol's product asset ecosystem  Today, the team owns the critical digital asset pipeline behind bol's assortment. This includes product images, product videos and product-related documents that support compliance, product safety and assortment quality.  These assets are consumed across the entire customer journey: in search, on product detail pages, in recommendations and on external channels such as Google Shopping. The team ensures assets are available, trustworthy, compliant and scalable, while continuously improving quality and operational efficiency.  At the same time, the role of product assets is rapidly evolving. Product images and videos are becoming increasingly important in social-inspired shopping experiences, conversational shopping journeys and future AI-powered shopping agents. As Product Manager, you'll help shape how digital assets remain relevant and effective in these emerging channels.  Tomorrow: expanding beyond product content  Over the coming years, bol will expand beyond traditional product content.  New content types such as creator content, banners, displays, advertising assets and marketing content will become increasingly important for helping customers discover products and make purchasing decisions. Rather than building separate solutions across the organization, bol is centralizing key capabilities within the Digital Asset Management domain.  Your team will play a leading role in building reusable capabilities for asset creation, metadata extraction, moderation, governance and distribution. These capabilities will enable multiple business domains to innovate faster while maintaining consistency, quality and compliance.  For example, metadata generated from video content can help moderate content, determine where assets should be shown, improve personalization and ensure the right content is presented to the right customer at the right moment, both on and off the bol platform.  Your challenge  Your challenge is to successfully balance these two worlds.  You'll be responsible for a business-critical platform that already supports millions of product assets and directly impacts assortment quality, customer experience and compliance. At the same time, you'll help define and build the reusable capability layer that enables future content experiences across bol.  This requires strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking and the ability to translate abstract organizational ambitions into concrete product outcomes. You'll work across business and technology domains, looking beyond organizational boundaries and individual use cases to identify common problems and scalable solutions.  Success means continuously balancing operational excellence, innovation and platform thinking, while leveraging the team's deep expertise and maintaining clear ownership and focus.  Two example initiatives you could start working on  Evolving product assets for the next generation of shopping  You'll lead the evolution of the asset pipeline that powers millions of product images, videos and compliance-related documents. Together with teams across bol, you'll define how product assets can better support conversational search, social-inspired shopping and future AI-powered shopping experiences while continuing to meet quality and compliance requirements.  Building reusable content intelligence capabilities  You'll work with stakeholders from advertising, marketing and content domains to build reusable capabilities for metadata extraction, moderation and content governance. These capabilities help determine which content can be shown, where it should be surfaced and to which audiences it is most relevant, enabling richer and more personalized customer experiences across channels.  In this role, you'll  Define and communicate a compelling vision for Digital Asset Management and content capabilities across bol.  Own the strategy for today's product asset ecosystem while preparing the platform for tomorrow's content domains.  Identify common problems across business domains and translate them into reusable platform capabilities.  Balance local use case requests with scalable and reusable investments.  Align stakeholders across business and technology domains around shared outcomes and priorities.  Translate abstract strategic opportunities into concrete roadmaps, outcomes and execution plans.  Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions for asset creation, metadata extraction, enrichment, moderation and governance.  Collaborate closely with engineering, design and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.  Leverage the deep expertise of the team while maintaining clear ownership, focus and scope boundaries.  Influence decisions across organizational boundaries and create alignment without formal authority.    3 reasons why this is for you  Systems thinker: You enjoy connecting seemingly unrelated problems and identifying reusable solutions that create value across teams, domains and customer journeys.  Influencer: You thrive in complex stakeholder landscapes and know how to align diverse interests around a shared vision, even when you don't have formal authority.  Builder of the future: You get excited by combining strong operational foundations with emerging technologies such as AI, creator content and new shopping experiences.    3 reasons why this is not for you  You prefer well-defined domains with clear boundaries and limited dependencies. Navigating ambiguity and aligning multiple stakeholders across bol feels more frustrating than energizing.  You see individual feature requests as the goal. Balancing short-term needs with long-term platform investments and reusable capabilities doesn't come naturally.  You enjoy saying "that's not our area" more than understanding the underlying customer or business problem. Looking across domain boundaries to create broader impact isn't something you actively seek out.

Client Solutions Lead

All Your BI·Netherlands

Maybe you call yourself a Solutions Consultant, a Pre-Sales Lead, a Delivery Whisperer, Senior "Can-We-Actually-Deliver-What-We're-Selling" Person… or maybe you just call yourself Robin. Whatever you call yourself: you'll make sure the right client problem becomes the right AYBI solution, and that what gets sold is what actually gets built. Not just a good proposal. A solution the team building it can stand behind too. You'll own the outcome end to end, including the handoff between the people who sell the work and the people who build it. What you get A salary between €85,000–€90,000 gross per year, based on your experience. €5,000 a year for your own growth, with a real say in how you spend it. 25 vacation days, the option to buy up to 10 more, local public holidays, and the option of a sabbatical up to 4 months. Two trips abroad a year with the whole team, plus occasional drinks and team outings. €500 home-office budget and a great laptop. A well-earned “Hey, well done Buddy!”, now and then. Fully remote, within the Netherlands. About us All Your BI is a remote-first data agency based in Rotterdam. Since 2019, we’ve grown from a boutique consultancy into an international data team of more than 60 data heroes spread across Europe. We deliver managed BI services for logistics and industrial companies, helping reduce data waste and move businesses forward. We live for the WOW moment, that sparkle in users’ eyes when they gain new insights and discover opportunities. We work according to Holacracy: little hierarchy, lots of ownership. Serious work. Serious fun. What the job looks like Lead discovery and scoping for qualified opportunities: get past the feature request to the real business problem, the outcome the client wants, and the real constraints, then turn that into a solution using AYBI's data and BI platforms, including our own accelerator tools and the Microsoft data stack. Own the solution behind the proposal: the approach, deliverables, assumptions, risks, team and effort. Make the call when scope, client ambition, commercial pressure and delivery reality pull in different directions. You decide when a solution is ready to sell and when architects, engineers or other specialists need to validate it first. Shape the commercial case together with Sales, including the business case, the story and the pricing assumptions. Sales owns negotiation and closing; you own the credibility of what's underneath it. You'll also lead presentations, workshops and demos, explaining complex data work clearly to business and technical stakeholders. Own delivery readiness before AYBI commits: make sure scope, capacity, assumptions, responsibilities and what "done" actually looks like are understood by both sides. Build a proper handover for every signed deal and stay involved through the first 30 days to catch gaps before they turn into problems. Close the loop after the sale. Compare what was scoped against what the delivery team actually encountered, spot where margin or expectations slipped, and turn that into better proposals, playbooks and standards for next time. Keep improving the full process, from discovery through handover, using AI where it genuinely improves speed or quality. Track proposal turnaround, win rate, scope changes after signature and handover issues during the first 30 days. What you bring Attitude and experience: energy, curiosity and healthy skepticism. You’ve led complex client work across consulting, solution design, pre-sales or delivery, and your ability to own the whole problem matters more than a specific number of years. Data and BI understanding: you understand modern data platforms, BI solutions and cloud environments well enough to shape a credible solution, challenge assumptions and work effectively with architects and engineers. Judgment across the deal: you can turn an ambiguous client question into clear outcomes, boundaries and a realistic delivery approach, while understanding how scope, price, risk and delivery effort interact. You spot missing requirements and unrealistic expectations early. Communication and stakeholder leadership: you can lead a room with commercial, operational and technical stakeholders, surface disagreement early, and move the group towards a decision. You write proposals and decision documents people can act on without a follow-up meeting. Ownership: you close the whole problem, including the awkward tail after signature, and you thrive without a manager directing your day. You turn recurring work into playbooks and standards that improve how the wider team operates. Language: strong English. Dutch is useful, but not required. Nice to have: experience in a data or BI consultancy; Microsoft Fabric, Azure or Power BI knowledge; experience with logistics, ports or industrial clients; commercial estimation or pricing experience; and experience improving pre-sales or delivery handover processes. We’re a growing team across Europe, and we hire to widen that mix, not narrow it. What matters is what you can do and the perspective you bring, not your age, gender, ethnicity, orientation, disability, background, or where you studied. If the role excites you and you bring most of it, apply: the people who add the most rarely tick every box.
