We Own It — We nemen verantwoordelijkheid en maken onze beloftes waar. Legal Counsel

Insify·Netherlands

About Insify The legal infrastructure behind insurance is as broken as the products themselves. Regulations written for a different era, compliance frameworks that slow companies down instead of protecting them, and legal teams that show up at the end to say no instead of at the beginning to say here's how. We're doing it differently. Insify is a high-growth scale-up backed by €43M in total funding from world-class investors like Accel, Munich Re Ventures, and Formula 1 champion Nico Rosberg. In five years, we've expanded from the Netherlands into France and Germany, and we're just getting started. Our mission: become the European leader in AI-powered SME insurance. We aren't just building a company; we're leading a revolution. Our culture is intense, high-stakes, and mission-driven. We hire smart, ambitious "owners" who possess a relentless drive to win. This is an environment for those who thrive on challenges, value intellectual honesty, and share our mindset of becoming a global category leader. Our founding team consists of seasoned entrepreneurs who have previously built iconic businesses like HelloFresh, Bloomon, and SumUp. We bring that same bias for speed, scale, and high standards to one of the most structurally broken experiences in financial services. Together, we combine that deep fintech and e-commerce expertise with cutting-edge AI to stay ahead of the curve. About the role We're looking for a Legal Counsel who wants to be a builder, not a gatekeeper. This is not a role where you sit at the end of the process and review contracts. You'll be embedded in the business — working alongside Product, Growth, and Commercial from the start — shaping how Insify launches new products, enters new markets, and scales its legal and compliance infrastructure across Europe. You'll own GDPR, navigate the regulatory complexity of a multi-jurisdiction insurtech, and be the person who turns legal risk into a competitive advantage rather than a reason to slow down. As we expand into new European markets, you'll help lay the legal groundwork that makes each new country faster to enter than the last. The work is varied, the stakes are real, and the impact is immediate. What you’ll be doing: Be the trusted legal voice across the business, advising on Dutch and EU commercial and regulatory law, building our legal posture from the ground up, and making sure the business moves fast without moving blind Stay ahead of legal and regulatory developments across the Netherlands, France, and the markets we're entering next, and turn complex regulatory shifts into clear, strategic guidance the business can act on Own our international expansion from a legal perspective, helping navigate the groundwork that makes each new European market faster and smarter to enter than the last Partner with Product, Growth, and Commercial to launch new offerings, campaigns, and partnerships, bringing legal thinking into the room early, not as a final hurdle Build and scale our compliance infrastructure so it grows with us: practical, embedded, and designed for a company that's moving fast across multiple jurisdictions Own GDPR and our broader privacy framework, working cross-functionally to keep policies fit for purpose and genuinely embedded in how we build, not just filed away in a folder This role is a strong fit if you: You are a lawyer who’s done legal advice at a law firm and now wants to actually build something. You've seen how legal work gets done from the outside and you're ready to own it from the inside. Specifically, this role is for you if you want to: Move from advising businesses to being part of one, with real skin in the game and decisions that stick Join a disruptor taking on one of the most structurally broken industries in Europe Be at the forefront of AI adoption in a regulated industry, where the legal questions are genuinely new and genuinely interesting Shape multi-country expansion from the ground floor, not just reviewing contracts, but helping determine how we enter new markets Work in a team that moves fast and expects legal to keep up, not slow things down You'll also need: A strong legal background in Dutch law, gained through education, in-house, or law firm experience; EU law is a significant advantage 3+ years of market experience working in the Netherlands Relevant industry exposure in financial services, insurance, or tech, though we're open to sharp generalists who learn fast Fluency in Dutch and English, any other European language is a plus! The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders– with a point of view, not just a list of options Comfort with ambiguity, competing priorities, and driving multiple complex initiatives without losing the thread This role is not for you if: You prefer reviewing work at the end of the process rather than shaping it from the start You need stable priorities and fully defined scope to perform well You're looking for a role where the legal team is a separate function the business works around You expect a long runway before taking real ownership We offer: The chance to do some of the most interesting legal work in European insurtech, alongside a team of sharp, ambitious people from diverse backgrounds across fintech, e-commerce, insurance, consulting, and beyond Competitive compensation that reflects responsibility and impact Insify Pension Plan with 6% employer contribution Travel reimbursement for your commute Hybrid working– up to 2 days from home per week 25 holiday days per year, plus Christmas Eve when it falls on a weekday Remote work up to 4 weeks per year €50 monthly Alleo budget for whatever you like– gym, food, whatever Monthly team drinks, quarterly offsites, lunch and learns, and the kind of fun that happens when a high-functioning team wins together MacBook provided Real room to grow, with in-house leadership programmes and coaching as we scale!

Data Analyst

YoungOnes·Netherlands

Help launch our new temping product and drive commercial impact! At YoungOnes, data is at the start of every decision. Our Data & RevOps team has a seat at every table and takes a leading role in where the company goes next. Two years ago we rebuilt our data environment in Databricks from scratch, and it is fully ready for the future. There are few better environments to work in. We are looking for a Data Analyst with a focus on product, who also supports our marketing and commercial teams with deeper analyses. Someone with experience who is ready to take responsibility, and who does not stop at a report but actively steers on the outcome. What will you do? Your main focus is product. Next to that, you support marketing and the commercial teams, which keeps your work varied. Product In the flexible work market, companies used to choose between temping (uitzenden) and freelancers. Since last year we have been bringing a new proposition to market that sits in between: non-service temping. It combines the legal certainty of temping with the flexibility and personal control of freelancing, all through our platform. This is an important step in our strategy towards one app for work. Take the lead in tracking the progress of this new proposition; Define the KPIs and funnel that show whether the proposition is working; Analyse the full journey of workers and clients, from onboarding to repeat shifts; Spot problems early and actively steer where you see them; Translate insights into concrete improvements together with product and development; Work in a select team that operates as a startup within the company. Commercial & marketing support Next to product, you are the analytical sparring partner for our commercial teams and marketing. You go beyond the standard reports and dive deeper when questions get complex. Deliver deeper analyses for the commercial teams, for example on client potential, retention and growth opportunities; Support marketing with insight into campaign results and ROAS. This role is diverse, but above all it gives you a lot of freedom to take initiative and make an impact. Your team You will join an effective Data & RevOps team with 3 Analysts, 2 Engineers, a Performance Manager and 2 Process aAnalysts. You report to the Head of Data. The data itself is interesting: we support a two sided marketplace with workers on one side and clients on the other. We design bicycles and e-bikes for modern city life: functional, considered and created with close attention to design, detail and use. The product is central, but the brand goes beyond mobility. Veloretti operates at the intersection of design, lifestyle and urban culture. Since 2022, Veloretti has been part of Pon.Bike. Systems Engineer

Vitestro·Netherlands

About Vitestro Founded in 2017 in Utrecht, Vitestro is pioneering the future of blood collection with the Aletta® Autonomous Robotic Phlebotomy Device™ (ARPD™). This groundbreaking medical device combines advanced multi-modal imaging (near-infrared, ultrasound, and Doppler ultrasound) with robotics and AI to perform the entire diagnostic blood draw procedure autonomously. By addressing critical healthcare staffing shortages and improving patient experience, Vitestro is transforming one of the most common and essential medical procedures. With more than 130 team members and growing rapidly, we are scaling our impact. As we placed our first devices with customers, we are now expanding our team to ensure successful implementation and long-term reliability. At Vitestro, we are committed to continuous innovation and improvement. “As our Systems Engineer, you own a set of the device's key functions across their full product lifecycle: the way patients and supervisors interact with the device through its screens and indications, the structural frame and housing that carries and packages every other system, the safe disposal of used needles and filled blood tubes, the presentation of bandages for pick-up, and the delivery of contact liquid and vacuum that makes that pick-up possible. You manage these functions end-to-end translating feature requests and system-level requirements into function and sub-system requirements and concept design, integrating them into the wider device, and following up with improved designs, informed by field performance data, through to end-of-life. It is a broad, integration-heavy mechatronic role spanning mechanical structure, fluidics, actuation, sensing, and cable/harness design. As we scale from first customers to volume production, you will be central to maturing these designs for manufacturability, reliability, and cost, while leading multi-disciplinary design work and coaching discipline engineers through technical excellence.” First months at Vitestro “In your first months, you get to know the functions you own and the teams around them. You dive into the requirements, interfaces, and open issues for your functions, and start translating feature requests and system-level requirements into function and sub-system requirement breakdowns with clear acceptance criteria. You work closely with fellow systems engineers to detail the interfaces between functions, and start coordinating mechanical, electrical, software, and industrialization colleagues on the design work ahead. You get hands-on with the design-for-manufacturability challenges across sheet metal, formed and molded plastics, machining and additive manufacturing, and begin building relationships with the suppliers behind your functions.” This is what success looks like “After 12 months, the functions you own are performing reliably in the field, and their requirements, interfaces and verification status are clearly documented and understood by the wider team. You have led at least one multi-disciplinary design project from requirements through to design transfer, and discipline engineers you've coached are visibly growing in quality and best practice. You are the go-to person for your functions, trusted by mechanical, electrical, software and industrialization colleagues, and by our suppliers, to make the right calls on reliability, manufacturability and cost. You thrive at the intersection of mechanical, fluidic, electrical and software engineering, and enjoy translating ambiguous system-level needs into concrete, verifiable designs. You bring a pragmatic, can-do mentality, and you're comfortable moving between CAD, requirements documents, and the physical hardware on the bench.” Key Responsibilities Lead multi-disciplinary design projects across your functions — coordinating and delegating work across mechanical, electrical, software and industrialization disciplines to ensure effective, efficient design outputs that meet the requirements of various stakeholders Steer, coach and technically manage discipline engineers (e.g. mechanical and/or software), setting high standards for quality and best practices and helping colleagues grow Translate system-level requirements and feature requests into function and sub-system requirement breakdowns, establish acceptance criteria, and co-work with fellow systems engineers to detail the interfaces between functions Take your functions through design, integration, verification and design transfer to production — designing for manufacturability across sheet metal and weldments, formed and molded plastics, machining, and additive (SLS/FDM), and selecting the right process for each part Design and integrate electromechanical, fluidic/pneumatic and sensing content — pumps, valves, manifolds, tubing and sealing, stepper actuation, optical/capacitive sensing, and cable harnesses — with attention to serviceability, reliability and manufacturability Define and lead (and where needed co-execute) verifications and validations at function and system level Contribute to the refinement of our design and supplier management processes — including reviewing the supplier and parts quality control plan — and work together with our suppliers to implement design and/or process improvements, including cost-down and design-for-assembly optimization across a largely bought-in set of functions Monitor function performance across the lifecycle using field data, guard requirements and standards compliance, and troubleshoot issues at both function and system level What You’ll Bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a similar background >5 years working experience in design & development of mechatronic devices Experience with industrialization / design-for-manufacturing of actuated (dynamic, moving) systems, and hands-on design experience across manufacturing techniques such as sheet metal, formed/molded plastics and machined part Experience leading multi-disciplinary design projects and steering or coaching discipline engineers to deliver design outputs that meet stakeholder requirements Nice to have: Experience with the design of medical devices Experience in preparing devices for series-production Experience with fluidics/pneumatics (valves, manifolds, tubing, sealing) Experience with cable-harness and grounding/EMC design Experience collaborating with and managing external suppliers, including reviewing supplier and parts quality control plans and driving design-for-assembly optimization Experience in detailed design, using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) in a PDM-controlled environment Experience in prototyping software (e.g. Python, Arduino) How We Work At Vitestro, ownership is not a slogan - it is an expectation. We trust people to take responsibility, make decisions, and drive work forward. We believe breakthroughs happen when talented people combine dedication, accountability, and teamwork. That means: We take initiative rather than wait for direction. We focus on execution and delivering results. We proactively remove blockers and help each other succeed. We challenge ideas, not people. We continuously learn, improve, and raise the bar. We celebrate team success over individual heroics. We move fast, but we do so thoughtfully. We care deeply about quality because the technology we build ultimately impacts patients and healthcare professionals. If you are looking for an environment where you can make a significant contribution, take ownership of meaningful work, and be surrounded by highly motivated colleagues, we'd love to meet you. What we offer Competitive salary including pension plan 25 days of annual leave based on a full-time position Hybrid work model Working together in a high-skilled team with our home base in Utrecht Frequent out-of-work activities with our team, and annual company weekend away. Training budget Opportunity to be key shaper of a new global industry niche: autonomous medical robotics We’re big fans of working from the office – this is where team spirit comes alive. At the same time, we offer flexibility, allowing up to two (out of 5) days of working from home for those who prefer it. Are you excited? We totally understand that and so are we! By joining us, you can play an active role in changing the future of health care. Excited to join our revolution? Then we’d love to hear from you! If you think you've got what it takes, but you don't meet all the requirements - we still recommend you apply. We would love to learn about your interest and experience and consider if you can be a good fit for Vitestro. Nobody is a perfect fit, and we welcome applications with imperfections. We offer a learning environment where we grow together!
