Junior HR Solution Specialist

worldofwork·Netherlands

Functie-eisen Wie zoeken we? Geweldig! We leren je graag kennen. Solliciteer via het formulier met je CV en korte motivatie. Wij vertellen je graag meer en stellen je voor aan enkele van onze teamleden.

We combine urban hubs, electric fleets, and technology-driven logistics to move goods through cities faster, cleaner, and more efficiently. Forward Deployed Engineer (Full-Stack, Client-Facing) | Amsterdam Hybrid

Workwize·Amsterdam

At Workwize, we’re helping IT teams to easily equip their remote and global teams with all necessary IT equipment. Our automated SaaS platform simplifies hardware deployment, management, and retrieval with fast, reliable deliveries in 100+ countries. With 50.000 users and 120.000 devices under management, we’re solving hybrid work challenges like laptop deliveries, returns and equipment tracking, allowing IT teams to focus less on manual hassles and more on strategic initiatives. Join our team to help shape the future of global collaboration. At Workwize, your work will make a real impact in building smarter, more connected workplaces worldwide. LinkedIn has also recognized Workwize as one of the Top 10 Startups for 2025 in the Netherlands! About the Role A Forward Deployed Engineer helps our most important customers turn IT-lifecycle ambition into reality. You partner with them directly to design, build, and launch the workflows that drive adoption, deepen usage, and deliver measurable outcomes. This is a brand new team, set up like a startup inside Workwize. It exists for two reasons. New clients should get what they need to go live in weeks, not months. And our clients should get an engineer who knows their setup and fixes things fast. There is no product manager writing specs for you. You talk to the client, decide what is worth building, build it, ship it, and check that it made a difference. Everything you work on should bring clear value to the client and to Workwize. To be clear: this is not a machine learning or AI research role. You think alongg with our clients and build product features, workflows, and integrations on our platform. You use AI tools every day to move fast. How the work runs Discover. Get deep into the client’s IT world: goals, processes, tech environment, governance, and adoption blockers. Design. Turn that into engineering solutions: what Workwize owns, what integrates, how it becomes a durable operating layer that makes IT simple. Deliver. Stay hands-on through onboarding, building, launching, and iterating until it is live and the value is real. Key Responsibilities Work directly with the teams of new / enterprise clients. Run the discovery, agree what “done” looks like, and keep everyone updated. Turn messy requests from calls, Slack, and email into small, clear tickets with a measure of success on each. Build and ship production-quality code in our product. Not demos, not side forks. Say no, or “not yet”, when a request does not bring enough value. Propose the quickest-best version that solves the real problem. Track the impact of your work: faster go-lives, more orders and usage on the platform, fewer support tickets, happier clients. Work closely with Onboarding, Customer Success, Operations, sales and the product teams. Required Skills & Experience Around 4+ years of building and shipping software that real users depend on. You code at the level of a strong product engineer and work across the stack: web apps, APIs, and integrations. Experience working directly with customers or clients: you have run calls, scoped work, and pushed back when needed. You think in business terms. You can explain why something is worth building, not only how to build it. You investigate, prototype, plan, and ship with AI. You do not wait for another team to start. You know when to trust AI output and when to check it yourself. Fluent English, spoken and written. Bonus Skills Experience at an agency, an early-stage startup, or running your own company, where you had to do a lot with a small team. Experience with enterprise clients, and an understanding of how decisions get made (and blocked) inside large organisations. Experience with IT, device management, or HR and identity tools (for example Intune, Jamf, Okta, or an HRIS). The Right Mindset People who combine consultative discovery, systems thinking, technical fluency, workflow design, implementation judgment, and strong customer presence. In practice, that means you: Are pragmatic and fast. Think like an entrepreneur. You care about the outcome for the client, not about the ticket. Lead yourself. You don’t need someone to tell you what to do next, and clients trust you to run their project. Get energy from working with people. You enjoy being on calls and in the room with clients, then going back to build. Communicate clearly and directly. Location & Travel We prefer candidates based in the Netherlands, working hybrid from our Amsterdam office. We are also open to candidates in the UK and elsewhere in Europe who already have the right to work there. For the Netherlands, we can support a visa if needed. You might travel to clients once or twice a year. Workwize Offers Flexible hybrid or remote work environment. Top-notch tools and equipment provided. Vibrant, entrepreneurial culture with opportunities for growth. Off-sites and multi-yearly team bonding events. Team lunches and surprise events to keep things fun. Pension scheme if in the Netherlands. Classpass corporate membership. Our Team Becoming part of Workwize means making an impact. We make sure that we will contribute to the change in the way of working. For us it is also important that we make an impact on our employees, that they feel challenged and ease. We consist of a rapid growing and ambitious team with all different backgrounds. Entrepreneurs, Operational specialists, Developers, Sales gurus you can find them all at Workwize and are always on the look-out for the next original ideas to reach more consumers and create the best value for our customers. We are looking forward to meeting you and discover if there is a match with the Workwize team!

Handle the retries, state, and failure cases that come with operations spanning multiple services and data centres. - Work with Kubernetes and our runtime infrastructure through the control plane, and help diagnose latency, throughput, and reliability issues across the platform. - Build tooling that helps us operate safely at scale. Participate in on-call for the systems you build. You've debugged service-to-service problems in production and understand retries, partial failures, and idempotency. - Comfort designing APIs and resource models that other engineers will actually use. - Experience with relational databases, including schemas, transactions, and migrations. - Experience building asynchronous systems using queues, background jobs, state machines, or similar patterns. - Working knowledge of Kubernetes and an interest in building software that deploys and manages workloads on Kubernetes-based infrastructure. - Experience running highly available services, including being on-call. Bonus points for - Experience building developer tools, platforms, control planes, runtimes, or other products for developers. - Experience building software that interacts with Kubernetes, such as controllers, operators, or deployment systems. - Familiarity with serverless or edge-compute platforms (Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Compute, Lambda, Fly.io, Deno Deploy, etc.). - Experience with technologies in our stack such as Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, NATS/JetStream, Knative, or Dapr. - Experience operating software across multiple regions or data centres. - Open source contributions, particularly in the Go ecosystem.

We’ve got an impressive past but we’re even more excited for the future, and the impact you can make from day one is huge, with everything you ship affecting millions of users. Even with that in mind, we believe in truly giving our team members the freedom they need to craft to perfection while encouraging a practical mindset to avoid under or over-engineering mishaps. We are seeing an enthusiastic and accelerated growth of the travel industry, and with that comes both opportunities and growing pains (especially in the complex, multi-layered travel domain). So, if on top of the challenges inherent to feature development, you enjoy thinking about the performance and scalability aspects of a platform, you're in for a lot of fun with us.   Your itinerary What your journey at Polarsteps will look like day-to-day. The equipment in your backpack What we’re hoping you’ll bring with you. You’ve led teams of 3/4 or more engineers for 2 or more years. True “on the ground” experience with leading and mentoring engineers: helping your teammates grow, thrive, and do their best work, while keeping the team atmosphere collaborative and positive. You’ve seen the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful side of people leadership, and you are excited to continue in that journey. A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and an absence of fear when it comes to tackling big challenges in UI, architecture, or refactoring that 5-year-old piece of legacy code. A strong iOS development background, we work with Swift, but we still have some legacy Objective-C code, so we would love it if you are also familiar with that. Extensive experience with large apps published in the App Store. In-depth knowledge of UIKit, SwiftUI and experience building complex user interfaces. Experience with writing and debugging multithreading code. We use GCD, Combine, and the latest Swift Concurrency. Experience using Xcode instruments to optimize app performance and memory consumption. Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. We use Fastlane and Github actions. Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex) to improve development speed, code quality, and debugging efficiency. 1st class extras Some cool things to make the journey extra sweet. Group Product Manager

Prosus·Netherlands

Who We Are You've ordered dinner through Just Eat Takeaway. You've bought and sold on OLX. You've paid with PayU. Chances are, you've already used a Prosus company today. We are Prosus, a global technology company powering some of the world's leading lifestyle ecommerce businesses. Every day, billions of people across India, Latin America, Europe and beyond use our products and services to buy, sell, pay, connect and discover. Our AI-driven ecosystem spans 100+ companies across ecommerce, food delivery, fintech and experiences, serving billions of consumers worldwide. AI powers how we operate and innovate, with more than 60,000 active AI agents helping our teams build, scale and move faster. Through our investment team, we also back the founders and technologies shaping the future: From robotics and autonomous systems to synthetic biology and frontier AI. Guided by our five values Innovation, Results, People, Impact, and Entrepreneurship, culture is our competitive advantage. We thrive with experimentation; we build, we test, we learn, we iterate. Join us in shaping the future of technology at global scale. The Problem You'll Solve Prosus is building an AI-first future across a global portfolio that spans food delivery, e-commerce, fintech, and education. We invest over $100 million annually in AI, run 800+ models in production, and have deployed Toqan — our internal platform for building, testing, and deploying GenAI and agentic workflows — across the organisation. The scale of ambition is real; the challenge now is focus, coherence, and velocity. As Group Product Manager for our AI Platform, you will own the multi-year product strategy for the platform that underpins every AI initiative across Prosus. This means defining and sequencing the roadmap for agent infrastructure, evaluation frameworks, model deployment pipelines, and the shared capabilities that internal teams — from applied science to application engineering — rely on to build and ship AI products. You will balance long-term platform investments against the immediate, high-impact needs of teams across the portfolio who are racing to deliver. You will lead and mentor a team of product managers, instilling product discipline and building the PM talent pipeline that scales with the platform. You will partner closely with engineering and applied science leadership to shape the technical strategy — making the hard trade-offs between model performance, latency, cost, and reliability that determine what we can promise the business. And you will be the connective tissue: the person who turns ambiguous, fast-moving business needs into clear requirements, who aligns stakeholders across functions and geographies, and who ensures that what we build is not just technically impressive but adopted, trusted, and measurably impactful. Who You Are You are a senior product leader who has lived through the messy reality of building platform products for internal teams — and loved it. You measure your success not by features shipped but by the velocity and quality of the teams who build on top of your platform. You are deeply technical. You can engage substantively with engineering and applied science teams on model lifecycle, MLOps, evaluation frameworks, and infrastructure trade-offs — not as a bystander, but as a thought partner. You understand agentic architectures, LLM capabilities and limitations, and the operational realities of running AI in production at scale. You are a people leader. You have managed and mentored product managers, and you take genuine pride in their growth. You set strategic direction, coordinate overlapping roadmaps into a coherent plan, and create the clarity that lets your team operate with autonomy and purpose. You thrive in ambiguity. You have worked in fast-paced, high-scale environments where priorities shift and the path forward is not always clear. You do not wait for perfect information — you run rapid experiments, test hypotheses, and let data and user feedback guide the next step. You are a communicator. You can simplify complex technical concepts for executive leadership one hour and dig into detailed requirements with an engineering team the next. You build trust across functions and geographies, and you are as comfortable pushing back as you are building consensus. You are customer-obsessed — even when your customers are internal teams. You connect frequently with the people who use your platform, validate solutions through product discovery, and treat adoption as a first-class metric. What You Bring 8+ years in product management, with at least 3–5 years in formal people-management roles leading a team of product managers. Demonstrated success owning platform-level or infrastructure products used by internal teams — ideally including AI/ML platform capabilities, MLOps tooling, or developer-facing services. Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, and the model lifecycle (training, fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring) in production environments. Track record of defining and executing multi-year product strategies in fast-moving, high-scale environments. Technical Depth Ability to engage substantively with engineering and applied science teams on architectural decisions, infrastructure trade-offs, and AI system design. Familiarity with agentic workflows, agent frameworks, and the operational patterns that make AI agents reliable at scale. Strong data-driven decision-making: comfortable with analytics tooling, A/B testing, defining and tracking KPIs, and using metrics to measure adoption, accuracy, latency, and ROI. Experience with modern product and engineering tooling (e.g., Databricks, Jira, Confluence, Figma) and agile methodologies. Leadership & Influence Proven ability to mentor and grow product managers, instilling PM best practices and building talent pipelines. Stakeholder management across functions and geographies — aligning engineering, applied science, business teams, and executive leadership around a shared roadmap. A bias toward ownership: you take accountability for outcomes, protect your engineers' focus, and course-correct execution without waiting to be asked. Mindset Customer-first: you translate needs into technical requirements, push back when scope dilutes value, and advocate relentlessly for the people who use your platform. Comfort with ambiguity: you structure complex problems, propose pilots to validate direction, and create clarity for new and evolving teams. AI intuition: you stay current on models, frameworks, and evaluation methods — not as a researcher, but with the hands-on curiosity of a builder. Why Prosus? At Prosus, your colleagues include 60,000 AI agents… and your job is to figure out what that actually means. We're one of the largest operators of agentic AI on the planet, inside a $100B+ portfolio across 100+ companies and two billion people. The humans here own what AI can't do alone: judgment, creativity, and the call on what gets built next. Own the impact. Work the ecosystem. Earn your growth. Build with backing.
