Customer Support Specialist - International Markets

Insify·Netherlands

ABOUT US Europe is changing. More and more people are choosing freedom — as freelancers, self-employed workers, or entrepreneurs. They decide when, how, and with whom they work. But that freedom comes with a downside: uncertainty. At Insify, we believe entrepreneurs shouldn't have to worry about insurance. That's why we're building something the insurance world desperately needs: transparent, fair, and fully digital insurance, designed specifically for people who work for themselves. No complicated paperwork, no hassle. Sorted today, covered tomorrow. We now insure thousands of customers across Europe — and we're just getting started. The Operations Team We are the face of Insify. With every call, every email, and every conversation, we build trust. We make sure customers feel heard, supported, and well taken care of — even when things get complicated. Speed and quality go hand in hand, and we continuously improve based on what we learn. With a growing team and expansion into multiple European countries, you play a direct role in something that makes a real impact. Your Role As one of our first Customer Support Specialists for a new European market, you won't just be supporting customers— you'll be a founding voice of that market at Insify. That means helping us build and shape the experience from the ground up, while being the first point of contact for entrepreneurs at some of the most important moments in their business. What You'll Do Customer contact. You answer questions via phone, email, and chat. You explain complex insurance policies in a way customers actually understand. Onboarding. You guide new customers through the process so they're insured within 2 minutes — smooth, accurate, and personal. Spot patterns. Noticing the same question coming up from customers? You flag it, work with the team, and help us improve the product for that market. Administration. You keep customer data up to date, process policy changes, and never lose track of deadlines. What You Bring Fluent in English — written and spoken. Additional European languages are a big plus (we'd love to hear which ones you speak in your application). You're organised, switch easily between tasks, and never miss a deadline. You have a genuine customer-first mindset — you enjoy helping people, even when it's not straightforward. Entrepreneurial by nature — you thrive in a scale-up where not everything is figured out yet, and that excites rather than frustrates you. Willing to obtain a relevant certification as part of your professional development. We pay for it and guide you through it. What We Offer 💰 Competitive salary — between €35,000 and €45,000 (including holiday allowance) and 6% pension contribution. 🏖️ 25 vacation days — plus an extra day off on Christmas Eve if it falls on a working day. 🏠 Hybrid working — two days working from home once you're fully onboarded. 🚆 Travel reimbursement — we help with your commute. 🎯 €50 net per month via Alleo — save it up and spend it however you like, from gym membership to UberEats. 💻 Company MacBook — so you can always work quickly and efficiently. 🎉 Real team culture — monthly drinks, quarterly outings, lunch & learns, and more. 📈 Room to grow — at Insify, you grow with the company. For the right person, this is much more than just another job.

Process Transformation Specialist

IMC·Netherlands

IMC is a global trading firm powered by a cutting-edge research environment and a world-class technology backbone. We are re-engineering our Business Operations processes so they are scalable, reliable, and efficient — the baseline we need to automate them and embed AI, including agentic AI, in how our business functions run. As Process Transformation Specialist you will own that re-engineering end to end: map how processes really run today, redesign them to one global standard, build them into our systems, and embed them so every process is measured, repeatable, and ready for automation. You'll start in HR & Recruiting, with the core Workday and Greenhouse processes: Hire & Onboarding, Offboarding, Position Management, and Change Job (incl. Mobility). As the method proves itself, you take it across other Business Operations functions, for example Finance, Procurement, and internal service operations. What you'll do Run the re-engineering cycle Map current-state processes end to end — exceptions, workarounds, handoffs, and the data transfer points between systems and regions. Process owners tell you how it works; you document it. Facilitate redesign workshops with functional leads and regional process owners; drive to a single global standard, with local deviation only where there is genuine need. Translate future-state designs into system requirements (Workday business processes, Greenhouse workflows, other Business Operations platforms), partnering with HRIS and system owners on the build. Define process metrics, establish baselines, and run the continuous-improvement cadence. Build a process excellence capability across Business Operations Establish the reusable framework — standards, BPMN notation, templates, and a process repository — so every cycle gets faster than the last. Work with function leads beyond HR to prioritise and scope the next processes to re-engineer. Coach process owners so the improvement loop continues without you in the room. Make processes ready for automation and AI Design processes that produce clean, structured data — the foundation for reporting, automation, and AI. Identify which steps AI should power, augment, or leave to people, and design the human-in-the-loop checkpoints — the groundwork for embedding agentic AI in our processes. Work alongside external partners where they accelerate the work, and transfer the capability in-house. Land the change Plan and support change management: documentation, training, and adoption with teams and managers. What you bring 6+ years in business process re-engineering, process excellence, or operational excellence, using formal methods (Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, value-stream mapping), with redesigns you have taken through to implementation. Redesign experience in at least one Business Operations function, for example HR, Finance, Procurement, or shared services. Experience across several functions, and hire-to-retire in particular, is a strong plus. Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms. Working knowledge of Workday business processes (HCM and/or Financials) is a strong plus — if you know the method, we will help you learn the platform. Strong facilitation — you run workshops that get senior stakeholders to decisions, and you balance global consistency with local needs. Data literacy: you design processes with measurement in mind and are comfortable analysing process data. A pragmatic grasp of automation and AI workflow automation, integrations, and AI agents — and good judgement on where they add value. A change-management track record. You land redesigns, not just design them. Nice to have Experience in a trading firm, fintech, or other fast-moving technical environment. Experience as a global process owner — accountable for a process end to end, not only its design. Process mining or modelling tools (e.g. Celonis, SAP Signavio). Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, BPM, or Workday certification. A consulting or enterprise transformation background. About Us IMC is a research-driven trading firm where quantitative modeling, machine learning, and engineering shape how modern markets are traded. A stabilizing force in markets since 1989, we provide liquidity across trading venues, delivering the best outcome in value and risk management to investors. Data Engineering & Analytics Manager

Insify·Netherlands

Insurance is a numbers business, and most of those numbers are harder to trust than they look. You would lead the team that defines the numbers Insify runs on, from the event a customer fires on our website to the report a risk carrier audits months later. About the Role You would lead our Data & Analytics team of 3-4 engineers end to end: ingestion, the warehouse and its models, the metric layer, and the analysis and reporting built on top of it. It is a small team with a big surface, so there is nowhere to hide and nothing you can't reach. We are deliberately not splitting data engineering from analytics. At our size the hard problems sit in the handover between the two, and we want one person who enjoys that whole puzzle. The team serves four groups with genuinely different needs. Growth wants hourly to daily signals and can live with approximately right. Carrier reporting and corporate finance are calendar-locked and need numbers that reconcile and survive an audit months later. Actuarial needs depth and lineage over speed. Prioritising here is arbitration between things that fail in different ways, and the arbitration is yours. It's a hands-on role. You can open the warehouse and read the models, you review a new data model before it ships, and your team trusts your technical judgement because you still use it. The job is still the team: its own game, its communication, and each person in it. When something slips, hands-on work is the first thing that yields. What you'll be doing Leading a team of 3-4 data engineers and analysts end to end: what it builds, how it runs in production, and who you hire and grow to get there Running discovery with the teams we serve: understanding what they need from data, and bringing the platform and datasets that enable them Owning the trade-offs between Growth, carrier reporting, finance and actuarial: deciding what the team works on, driving alignment with key partners across other teams, and saying no when the answer is no Making the platform scale: a new country, carrier or product should mean configuration and reused models, and recurring manual work, like carrier reporting and cash reconciliation, should turn into automation Bringing engineering excellence to how the team works: data contracts with product teams, testing in CI, alerts that get resolved, a way to try changes before they hit production Challenging our ideas and bringing your own. We encourage each other to act this way, so you can expect the same from others What you'll need You've managed or led a data team before, including hiring, feedback and growing people. It doesn't have to be for long, but it has to be real and you have to want more of it Depth on one side of the data stack and working fluency on the other. You still love shipping, you review your team's work, and they trust your judgement on it A track record of shaping what gets built, not only how: you've turned business problems into data priorities, cut scope, and can show the decisions that followed Ownership & impact instinct - when needed you go beyond your team's boundaries to get to results You get real leverage out of AI in your daily work, and you can say where it helped, and where it hurt. Your team gets that from you: you try new tools and ways of working first, and bring the ones that stick Nice to have Experience with reporting that has to reconcile: bordereaux, revenue, cash, ledger Experience building B2B products, especially in insurance & fintech Experience working on a product distributed across different country markets Experience with Databricks, dbt and event tracking (Snowplow or similar) Our stack Databricks with Unity Catalog, dbt with SQL-based transformation, running on AWS. None of this is a hard requirement, and you don't need to know all of our stack. We care more about how you reason about data, systems and teams than which tools you have used. Strong on most of it? Apply. How we hire Five conversations, each with a clear purpose, and you hear where you stand after every one: Leadership. We look at your experience with performance management, personal development and building teams. Data Model Review. You review a change to our warehouse models with two of our engineers. Data Platform Design. A modelling and platform problem close to what we deal with. Values Interview. We look at your approach to work, and how it adds to our Values. Meet the Founder. You get the outcome within three days of your last round, with specific feedback either way. We offer Competitive compensation. We offer a salary in the range of 85k-110k EUR plus performance-based equity grants Hybrid. 3 days in the office, 2 from home, up to 4 weeks a year from abroad, 25 holiday days Pension. 6% employer contribution Wellbeing budget. €50 net a month via Epassi, from the gym to takeaway, rolls over Learning and coaching. Internal leadership programs and coaching Central Amsterdam office. Shared lunches, dogs, Friday drinks, high-spec MacBook Pro About Insify Insify is a high-growth scale-up backed by €43M in total funding from world-class investors like Accel, Munich Re Ventures, and Formula 1 champion Nico Rosberg. In five years, we've expanded from the Netherlands into France and Germany, and we're just getting started. Our mission: become the European leader in AI-powered SME insurance. We aren't just building a company; we're leading a revolution. Our culture is intense, high-stakes, and mission-driven. We hire smart, ambitious "owners" who possess a relentless drive to win. This is an environment for those who thrive on challenges, value intellectual honesty, and share our mindset of becoming a global category leader. Our founding team consists of seasoned entrepreneurs who have previously built iconic businesses like HelloFresh, Bloomon, and SumUp. We bring that same bias for speed, scale, and high standards to one of the most structurally broken experiences in financial services. Together, we combine that deep fintech and e-commerce expertise with cutting-edge AI to stay ahead of the curve.

So, what are we doing to improve this? Our C-suite has moved from 100% male in 2023 to a 5:3 male-to-female split today. We have increased our % of female hires from 23.6% in 2021 to 38.5% in 2023. We are working with State Employment initiatives in Norway and Sweden to bring candidates through internship/apprenticeship routes and are investigating similar initiatives in the UK and Bulgaria. By raising awareness and transparency, we are hoping to further attract a diverse workforce.
